Self-pics (your concerns about descriptive cats removed, and disparity w/ female self-pics)

I have added back the descriptive categories to the self-pics (into new categories for such purpose). Before when you were referring to the "descriptive" categories being removed, I thought you were referring to cirucmcision/uncircumcision miscategorizations and not the foreskin/erection/etc. categories (my bad). Per your concerns I have also added corresponding self-picture categories for females.

Separating out self-pictures from the main "Penis"/etc. categories allows both sides to 'have their cake and eat it too'. If a user wishes to browse self-pics, they are there (and organized into various categories (foreskin, pubic hair, shaved, etc). If a user is not looking for self pics (looking for a line drawing, or a non self-picture photograph), then those images they are looking for are not drowned out/overwhelmed in the main category by 900 self pics. (Otherwise 900 self-pics would overwhelm and drown out the diagrams, charts, and photos that aren't self-pics) Hopefully this solution is acceptable to both sides. Administrator User:Martin H. has summarily deleted the categories without any prior discussion. Pursuant to DGAF I no longer GAF. If Commons does not care if it becomes a massive repository of low-quality home-made images of its users' penises, I DGAF. I have more important things to deal with. images of cryptorchidism

Hi, can you confirm that these images are either of your, or of an adult male, as I have placed them on a page to illustrate the phenomenon.

Do you know of any decent images that clearly show hypospadias on a penis that is not erect?

I am also looking for any other images of atypical genitalia for the page in question, male, female or otherwise - if you know of any.

Hi, I confirm that all my images are of adult persons. I suggest that you might find some images from medical sites, Google Image Search, Flicr etc. Just be careful with possible copyright restrictions. categorization, re: human anatomy & sexuality

hi; i notice that you reverted my very carefully constructed categorizations of the files you contributed to wmc as "useless categories"

with respect i have to dusagree quite strongly with htat characterization.

i am attempting to re-organize the "sex" material on wmc into a set of logical, searchable categories, that can be taken seriously. no one else has bothered, & the work is certainly needed

wmc's system of organization, taken as a whole, is rather poor; the sexual/anatomical material's organization, is extremely poor; & most of what is happening in the area seems to be an ongoing battle of wills between the pro & anti-censorship camps.

i have some knowledge of organizing archives, databases, etc & even a bit of a background in library science.

if you want an example of why you category revert is unhelpful, consider this:

near where i live, there is a veteranary school; they teach animal surgery, among other things. a file photo, from the school, of say, the shaved genitalia of a dog, pre & post op, would belong in the category "shaved genitalia (male)'; however simply dumpiung all images of shaved male genitalia into one category ilke that would 'NOT result is a searchable, useful database; it would result in a useless mess.

i'm very much anti-censorship & trying to rework this organization of this collection of material into something that can be taken seriously, & will be easier to defend against the people who want to delete all the "dirty" pictures.

if you need help in understanding the system of categories i am creating, or why they are being organized in the way that there are being organized, please contact me.

thenk you, & i hope you will continue to contribute to wmc; specifically, in sorting through this material, i am finding that there are categories where wmc lacks media. once i have the existing material organized, some of the missing categories will become more obvious, & perhaps efforts should be made to fill in what is needed.

I appreciate your effort, there is some point in what you said. Still I find your system rather complex, I've difficulties to find images that were easily available earlier. If you add new categories, it's fine for me, but please, don't remove existing categories. IMO the images should be available where they are used to be, the categories can easily be removed later, if and when they become obsolete, discordant or unambiguously redundant. Thank you for the feedback! I rarely comment on it and very seldom correspond to e-mail requests.

There have been some suggestions that I'm gay and exhibitionist. Well, I'm not gay, exhibitionist to some degree, yes. I think most of us are. Without a slightest tendency to exhibitionism no one would send here images of his or her genitalia.

You have seen almost everything of me, my penis and testicles, you have seen me masturbating and ejaculating. But it's not important or essential that it is MY genitals that you have seen. Every male have similar organs and bodily functions so I want to highlight that my images and videos represents all males, the male gender. These are very natural things, like having a baby or menstruation. In my opinion, sexuality related issues should be more commonplace and there must be available images and videos of decent quality to fulfill the information thirst that people may have due to various reasons.

Based on the feedback I believe that my contributions are useful, informative and educational although some people (mostly narrow-minded) dislike them. I will continue doing contributions (probably rather sparsely) in the future and I'm open to new ideas and suggestions.Richiex (talk) 06:50, 10 September 2013 (UTC)

I hope that masturbation gradually becomes less of a taboo, it is a natural thing and commonly practised enjoyable action that we should be able to talk about and show explicitly. I don't mind if others see me masturbating and ejaculating in a video, I'm just showing how manly organs function and how they can be used, erection and ejaculation are natural physiological events that I'm not ashamed of, rather proud of them on behalf of male population. In my opinion this kind of videos should be used more often in articles since they are more informative than images. I'm pleased if my videos are liked and watched from whatever reasons.
