Pay attention to licensing
Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content: images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose.

File:Corsicaterraitaliana.jpg seems to be free (or it would be proposed for deletion), but it was identified as having a wrong license. Usually, it is because a public domain image is tagged with a free license, or because the stated source or other information is not sufficient to prove the selected tag is correct. Please verify that you applied the correct license tag for this file.

If you believe this file has the correct license, please explain why on the file discussion page.

OK, see explanation in the File.--Rew48 (talk) 23:25, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
See below. Similar here. --Saibo (Δ) 01:19, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
But this originally was not a photo. I did the digital photo of a kind of postcard (or I'd say "manifesto") that appeared on an old book pre-WWII. Hope now it is OK.--Rew48 (talk) 23:42, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, see explanation in the File--Rew48 (talk) 23:25, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks - that is a bit better! However, as you can read in Template:PD-Italy the "70 years" do apply after the death of the photographer if it is not a simple photo. This photo does not seem to be a simple photo and you seem also not to claim it. Did you misinterpret the law about the "70 years"? Cheers --Saibo (Δ) 01:17, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your response. But it was originally a photo(or an artistic drawing) before if got printed on the "postcard", wasn't it? If this is the case the original photographer needs to be dead for more than 70 years.
Do you know the age of the original? When was the photo taken/painted? Do you know the original photographer?
By the way: do not be afraid of the "wrong license" template - it is just to warn others / make them aware of this discussion here. The image will not be deleted due to this template. :) --Saibo (Δ) 01:16, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
