What are the differences in these diffs?
[edit]I can't see them. These are the diff IDs:
- Special:Diff/713516592 (has a visible difference, but I'm talking about the line/part affecting User:Teevee)
- Special:Diff/713516863
- Special:Diff/713521475
- Special:Diff/713522061
Can you please tell me what the differences are in these diffs? You may have to look for invisible Unicode/UTF-8 characters. 209.52.88.10 05:24, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
- Well...they're on different lines. They were later fixed and were not a problem in calculating the result.
- And re this edit summary, we also accepted manual votes via email, which I processed. I evidently didn't check whether one of the users had already voted, and when I later noticed that they had, removed the earlier vote. I hope this helps. Best, RAdimer-WMF (talk) 16:55, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. Also, is it 2065 or 2066 votes? One of the votes didn't get fixed until January of this year. It shows 2065 in both the /Notice and /statistics pages and 2066 later on in the /statistics page on the section "#votes: 2066." 154.20.213.253 00:08, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, and I just realized the broken vote didn't get dumped into /Votes/raw. 154.20.213.253 00:38, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- And there's still 2066. Mr. Programmer of the Madness' didn't get removed before the dump. 154.20.213.253 00:57, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- There's 2065. I drafted the pairwise preferences and margin of victory tables, which involved manually copy/pasting all values from the script, before I removed that vote. The actual Schulze calculation was re-run after the removal, hence 2065. RAdimer-WMF (talk) 01:24, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- While it is true that Mr. Programmer of the Madness' vote got removed, there was also one vote that was added because the vote (by Tamara Valério Carneiri) was broken and it got fixed by Cookai1205 in January 2023 instead of the purported deadline of December 2022. Why did it not get caught earlier and why are we not gonna bother recounting it again? 154.20.213.253 04:31, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, and also, why did you accidentally remove Mr. Programmer's ineligible vote with your personal account? 209.52.88.249 05:03, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- That vote didn't get 'caught' earlier because there was nothing to catch; the script included it in the Schulze calculation. As for your second question, the answer is in your question: it was accidental. RAdimer-WMF (talk) 17:54, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- But Tamara's vote doesn't show in /Votes/raw! 154.20.213.253 04:05, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- /Votes/raw was created by another user to try and identify the results through their method. It is not what we used for calculating the official results. Best, RAdimer-WMF (talk) 22:43, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
