Bild Gleisabstand

[edit]

Hallo Priwo!

Was hieltest Du davon, Dein Knipsbildchen ebenfalls freizugeben? Gruß, Wolfgang --WeHaWoe (talk) 20:04, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Was meinst du mit freizugeben? Priwo (talk) 07:20, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

Hi. When you add categories, they need to go in square brackets, , not curly braces, . Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 21:41, 7 December 2008 (UTC) It seemed to work with the curly braces, will use the square brackets from now on. Priwo (talk) 21:44, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I understand how it may seem to work because categories get added - but it will add the parent categories of the one you add, not the category itself. I am fixing them now - take a look at the categories before and after my fix to see the difference. You can also read en:Wikipedia:Transclusion for more info - it can be complicated! :) —Wknight94 (talk) 21:58, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Audio files

[edit]

Hello Priwo,
when uploading audio files on Commons please take care to find the correct category for them. Austrian pronunciations have to be listed in Category:Austrian pronunciations. On top of that please type e. g. for "Wanduhr" so the file will be listed under letter W.
Some time ago I had started to categorize many, many Austrian pronunciations which were listed in the category for German pronunciation and I still haven't finished. Today I looked under letter F in the German category (where usually many files of words starting with another letter can be found because people forget about the Wanduhr etc.) and I wasn't amused at all to see a lot of Austrian pronunciations there.
So I ask you kindly to correct all those ones.

[edit]

It could be the area named Brigittenauer Lände on the left bank of the Donaukanal, I am not sure that this information is correct. Priwo (talk) 22:16, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Danke. Nochmals vielen Dank. MfG Charles01 (talk) 07:46, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

To this. I assure you with all possible force that perfectly understand the policy of categorization, but as I was in Vienna only part-time, then, to my great regret, categorize your files in more detail I did not have the opportunity. So thank you for helping me with that :).--Хомелка (talk) 07:41, 12 May 2013 (UTC) Hi Хомелка, I will try to categorize more of the pictures you made in Vienna. The text (catfix - please ...)

Category discussion warning

Bahnhof Jenbach has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!
