File:Jorge Sousa Kempo.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

- Hello Turelio,
- The athlete asked me to add the photo to his profile.
- I did not know that there might be a copyright violation.
- I will delete it.
- Thanks Pmfonseca (talk) 16:37, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Pmfonseca,
- it is not sure that it is a copyvio, just a suspicion. The problem is often that these people hear "Wikipedia" and they are glad, as it's good PR, but have little knowledge about copyright. However, you might/should ask the athlete wether he really has the full copyright of this image. If he answers yes and if he is willing to release it under a free license, as required for uploads to Commons, you might send him a permission-template and ask him to complete it and to send it to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org (OTRS). Just go to Commons:Email templates#Email message template for release of rights to a file, copy the boxed permission-text, enter the filename (or complete URL) of the image and send that to the athlete. He needs to send the reply/permission directly to the above mentioned address. --Túrelio (talk) 16:43, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- I will ask for a new photo (taken by himself).
