Google maps based images.
[edit]I think best way to deal with problem - delete Google maps version and you'll reupload new one. By the word, in which Wikipedia did you use these images? --EugeneZelenko 16:33, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, i don't know what is your general practice for conversation (if you'd check back at my talk page) so i move everything here just to be safe.
- Could you help me delete everything at one go? It'd be rather tedious to request deletion individually. :p i used the images in the English Wikipedia, why? --Plastictv 16:52, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
- I'll try to do so. So far, I deleted Image:ChinaShandongTaian.PNG, Image:ChinaShandongZaozhuang.PNG, Image:ChinaShandongZibo.PNG and commented their usage in English Wikipedia articles. Sorry, it's take time, because I need to check usage on many projects with Commons:Tools/Check-Usage. --EugeneZelenko 16:56, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
- I deleted these images. I are safe to reupload now. Please don't forget to uncomment images in English Wikipedia articles. See en:Special:Contributions/EugeneZelenko for list. --EugeneZelenko 17:17, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
China province maps
[edit]Hi, I saw your China province/prefecture maps - they are fantastic!
I was wondering if you are interested in making a series for Hubei? I know a guy who is writing articles for all the Hubei prefectures in en (en:User:Frank.Feather) so it would be great if there were maps to go along with them.
Thanks! pfctdayelise (translate?) 00:39, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Missing Matsu Islands as Disputed on Fujian maps
[edit]Although Kinmen and Wuchiu are properly marked as Disputed on your Fujian maps, you have forgotten to mark the Matsu Islands, which are also controlled by the ROC, as Disputed. See the map of the Taiwan Strait here --71.141.123.108 00:57, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Plastictv. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Plastictv~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
