Ce bâtiment abritait autrefois les archives départementales Voir. Pour les archives de la ville, elle était autrefois sous l'école de danse dans un des bâtiments de l'arsenal. Can you tell me what is the problem with the new name of this file? I think the old name wasn't suitable: in the Category:Costumes of Manneken Pis (Brussels) we have 55 files of Manneken Pis from Brussels. All of them can have a name Manneken-Pis - Bruxelles. But there are differences in them and we are trying to describe it.
You had uploaded this file on a Créative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International License. So anybody can modyfy it without asking for your approval.

Que la communauté fasse ce qu'elle pense devoir faire à propos du fichier 088 - Zinneke Pis - Bruxelles.jpg. Peut-être que la communauté devrait questionner directement Tom Frantzen le détenteur des droits de cette oeuvre, pour laquelle sa représentation dans la Wikipedia française, par une photographie de qualité acceptable, n'est à mon sens qu'une valorisation de son travail sans exploitation de quelque sorte que ce soit. Problème de sur-catégorisation (par exemple : 190 - Eglise Saint-Martin - Esnandes.jpg)

Bonjour,

Il faut éviter la sur-catégorisation des images, car cela rend les consultations plus difficiles ... raison pour laquelle j'avais retiré «190 - Eglise Saint-Martin - Esnandes.jpg» de la catégorie «Churches in Charente-Maritime».

en classant par exemple «190 - Eglise Saint-Martin - Esnandes.jpg» à la fois dans les catégories :

«Esnandes» (31 fichiers actuellement)

«Église Saint-Martin d'Esnandes» (36 fichiers actuellement)

«Churches in Charente-Maritime» (293 fichiers actuellement)

l'image est sur-catégorisée. Idéalement elle ne devrait figurer que dans «Église Saint-Martin d'Esnandes»

J'ai lu attentivement votre message ainsi que la page consacrée à la catégorisation des images et à l'avenir, j'essaierai d'aller dans le « bon sens ». Toutefois, je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir tout compris dans votre desmonstration de ce que vous appelez « l'idéal de catégorisation ». En effet pourriez-vous me dire à quoi sert la catégorie Churches in Charente-Maritime si je ne peux pax y mettre mon image « 190 - Eglise Saint-Martin - Esnandes.jpg » qui est bien une église et qui se trouve bien en Charente-Maritime ? De même à quoi sert la catégorie Esnandes si je ne peux pas y mettre non plus cette image alors que le monument photographié se trouve bien à Esnandes ? Pour cette catégorie, on pourrait peut-être la renommer « Catégorie Esnandes sans l'église » cela m'aurait évité de faire la bétise d'y mettre ma photo. À propos de sur-catégorisation, il m'arrive de voir des articles qui se retrouvent dans 7, 8 voire 10 (et plus) catégories différentes alors je me pose aussi la question : à partir de combien de catégories un article, une image est sur-catégorisé et la consultation difficile ?

à partir de combien de catégories un article, une image est sur-catégorisé ?

Il n'y a pas de limite, à condition que les catégories choisies ne soient pas redondantes (immédiatement liées les unes aux autres) ou trop larges.

Comme il est écrit la page d'aide Commons:Catégories: Il est souhaitable qu'un fichier soit seulement dans les plus précises catégories qui existent sur un sujet.

Voir l'exemple donné, celui d'une image d'un ours polaire sauvé par un hélicoptère d'un iceberg.

2/

à quoi sert la catégorie Churches in Charente-Maritime si je ne peux pax y mettre mon image « 190 - Eglise Saint-Martin - Esnandes.jpg » ?

Mais elle y est dans la sous-catégorie « Église Saint-Martin d'Esnandes » qui figure bien dans la page « Churches in Charente-Maritime ».

Imaginez une seconde que toutes les photos présentes dans les sous-catégories de la page soient aussi reproduites directement dans « Churches in Charente-Maritime », on aurait non pas 295 fichiers, mais rapidement plus de mille.

Il est logique de mettre dans cette page les seules photos des églises de Charente-Maritime qui ne possèdent pas (encore) une sous-catégorie présente dans la page.

3/

à quoi sert la catégorie Esnandes si je ne peux pas y mettre non plus cette image alors que le monument photographié se trouve bien à Esnandes ?

Elle y est dans la sous-catégorie « Église Saint-Martin d'Esnandes » qui figure bien dans la page « Esnandes ».

Si on y mettais toutes les images des sous-catégories de la page « Esnandes », on aurait plus de 100 images au lieu des 31 actuelles ...

Personnellement, je trouve acceptable de mettre une image « témoin » choisie dans certaines sous-catégories particulièrement représentatives.

4/

Finalement, avec l'expérience, je me rends compte que quoi que l'on fasse dans la WP, il y a toujours quelqu'un à qui ça déplait.

C'est effectivement inévitable ...

Wiki Loves Monuments France 2019

Bonjour,

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est de retour et ouvert jusqu'à 31 septembre ! Déjà 8309 photos ont été importés cette année, vous aussi rejoignez le concours !

Le concours concerne tous les monuments présents dans la base Mérimée (qu'ils soient classés, inscrits ou simplement classés). De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la chapelle au coin de la rue aux mégalithes en forêt, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Où que vous soyez il y a des monuments autour de chez vous. Enfin, vous pouvez mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments. Pour information, le règlement est disponible sur le site du concours. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international sélectionnera ensuite des meilleures photographies mondiales.

Si vous avez des questions, l'équipe organisatrice se fera un plaisir d'y répondre.
