Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Buona giornata! Solo adesso mi sono accorto (a causa evidentemente di una mia disattenzione!) di non aver dato riscontro a questa comunicazione, e che di conseguenza il File: Femme de dos.jpg è stato cancellato. Anche in questo caso dichiaro che il dipinto in questione Femme de dos di Durando - Togo Richard cm. 100x50 è di mia proprietà avendolo acquistato da un Antiquario di Tours (Francia) nell'aprile del 2022. Naturalmente anche in questo caso sono in grado di mostrare le mail della trattativa e copia del bonifico per il pagamento.

Pensando che quanto dichiarato sia sufficiente, nei prossimo giorni vorrei ancora inserire il file suddetto nella Voce, in quanto mi sembra molto pertinente.

Buona giornata! Dichiaro che il dipinto di Maria Szantho Ragazza con cesto di frutta o Figura femminile con frutta, dimensioni della tela 106x86 cm. è di mia proprietà, avendolo acquistato il 26 maggio 2022 da un antiquario di Milano. Naturalmente, se richiesto, sono in grado di esibire l'Atto di Compravendita e di Autenticità e Lecita Provenienza dell'opera. Grazie e cordiali saluti. Maria Szantho non ha avuto discendenza, e gli eventuali eredi sono irrintracciabili, e soprattutto non esiste un Archivio Ufficiale dove siano catalogate le sue opere riconosciute e certificate autentiche. Faccio anche presente che in numerosi siti internet di argomento artistico-culturale puoi constatare che moltissime sue opere sono presenti, e certo senza problemi di copyright. Credo che essere troppo inflessibilmente rigorosi a questo riguardo nell'ambito di siti culturali che siano senza fini di lucro quale è Wikipedia nuoccia in primo luogo alla completezza della informazione del sito stesso, senza di contro averne nessun vantaggio.

As noted at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Femme de dos.jpg, owning the painting rarely gives the owner the right to freely license it. That right is almost always held by the artist or his heirs. If you have a written license from the artist or his heirs that allows you to freely license the painting, please send a copy of it using VRT. . Jim . . .
