Question 10

[edit]

Surely the answer to question 10 should be "True"? If we can't even trust the license information on other Wikimedia projects, how can we be sure about the copyright status of anything? — Timwi 20:58, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You should see how many pictures we have to delete because their only source is "from en.wikipedia" or "from XX wikipedia", and either the pictures have been deleted from those projects because they have no source, or else they're still there, and just have no credible source. pfctdayelise (说什么?) 01:48, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It Depends

[edit]

I would suggest having 'it depends' as a valid answer in all questions. If everything up to a certain point has been true/false then clearly the sudden additional option is the one to choose! Also, some people may understand the broad principles but be unclear whether they apply in all circumstance. --HappyDog 20:40, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The results don't matter. The only thing that matter is that people actually complete it. On getting the correct answer, they would get a screen of information about why that answer is correct as well. So it can explain small exceptions there. Having "it depends" on every single question makes it a bit pointless. pfctdayelise (说什么?) 04:43, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, no. The point is that people who think that there are exceptions to a rule, when in fact it is hard and fast rule with no exceptions, will be more likely to revise their opinion if their choice of 'it depends' is categorically wrong. --HappyDog 03:25, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
