Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Si', il problema e' la fotografia sul manifesto. La legge infatti tutela le fotografie (e i testi, o in generale qualunque altra opera dell'ingegno di carattere creativo) e ne vieta la riproduzione non autorizzata anche se non ci sono indicazioni in tal senso da nessuna parte.--Trixt (talk) 00:33, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Innanzitutto c'e' da dire che il fatto che siano presenti in Internet o che vengano usate da giornali o riviste non significa che siano di pubblico dominio. Se trovi un'automobile per strada con le chiavi inserite e il motore acceso non significa che il proprietario ti consenta di prenderla, giusto? E se la maggior parte degli italiani evade le tasse non significa che sei autorizzato a fare altrettanto, giusto? Filosofia a parte, un'immagine e' di pubblico dominio se e solo se esiste una legge che dica che e' di pubblico dominio, altrimenti e' da considerare ancora protetta da copyright. Detto questo, veniamo all'immagine in oggetto: l'hai caricata usando il tag {{PD-old}}, che cita una legge che dice che l'immagine e' nel pubblico dominio perche' l'autore e' morto da piu' di 70 anni. Dato che l'autore non si conosce, e' impossibile dire che e' morto da piu' di 70 anni, giusto? Quindi quel tag e' fuori luogo. Ne esiste un'altro, {{Anonymous-EU}}, da usarsi per immagini pubblicate piu' di 70 anni fa di autori anonimi. Per "autore anonimo" non si intende "non si conosce l'autore", ma significa che una fonte autorevole ha dichiarato che l'autore di quell'immagine sia veramente anonimo. Dato che dubito tu sia a conoscenza di tale fonte (sempre che ci sia), questo tag non si puo' usare. L'unico che e' applicabile in questo caso e', penso, {{PD-Italy}}: ti conviene leggere con cura il tag e vedere se si puo' applicare (non ti spaventare vedendo che il tag in questo periodo e' in cancellazione, verra' molto probabilmente mantenenuto); in particolare dovresti conoscere la data di prima pubblicazione della fotografia (la legge si applica in ogni caso se l'autore e' italiano, ma in questo caso, non conoscendo l'autore, non si puo' dire con certezza).--Trixt (talk) 10:12, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Verifica immagini

Beh, non è facile fare una lista, perchè si va molto ad esperienza. Ad esempio il fatto che una foto sia ad una certa risoluzione su FB e viene caricata qui ad una risoluzione inferiore fa pensare ad uno scaricamento da FB (non può essere il contrario, perchè se una foto in originale ha una certa risoluzione non si può aumentare, ma solo diminuire). A volte si guardano i dati EXIF (se mancano spesso è presa da Internet), o i contributi di un utente (se è una foto professionale e gli altri contributi sono amatoriali, se l'utente scatta di solito foto in Italia ma quella è dell'Africa e così via).--Trixt (talk) 20:26, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Ho visto che in data 30 gennaio 2014 hai provveduto a sostituire il file in oggetto con un altro. Detto nuovo file, IMHO, dovrebbe essere caricato in Commons a parte e non sostituendo quello esistente. Ti chiedo gentilemente di effettuare la modifica ripristinando il file esistente prima del 30 gennaio, che, tra l'altro, ha dimensioni ben precise (2100x300px) per essere inserito in Wikivoyage alla voce Palmi. Re: Palmi

Ciao e grazie per il messaggio. Ho delle foto relative a Palmi e alla Varia, ma sinceramente a causa del PC ormai vetusto e con la memoria ridotta ai minimi termini, oltre a problemi di tempo e via facendo, non ti posso promettere niente riguardo a quando procederò con il caricamento. Di sicurò ti posso solo dire che la mia intenzione è quella di procedere, prima o poi, al loro caricamento, magari diluendo la cosa nel tempo. Riguardo al caricamento di foto di monumenti, la cosa si complica ulteriormente (e di molto!) dato che in Italia non vi è Libertà di panorama.
