You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed?  Comment The crop is too tight, particularly right and left to the bumpers. Can you re-crop with more space all around the car? Also, you have a high contrast subject. Whites are on the edge of being overblown but OK. Need to push up the black areas needs to see more detail. --GRDN711 (talk) 19:15, 23 November 2024 (UTC)

•  Comment @Pierre André: I appreciate your positive attitude in making changes you agree with as it does improve the nomination. However, I continue to struggle with this image for VI.
  

The vehicle seems somewhat sharp but all of the background is blurred. Not sure depth-of-field was sufficient to create this effect. Did you use a blurring tool around the car in post-processing?

The scope includes the location of Carmel. IMO location has nothing to do with the vehicle and is an inappropriate sub-scope that narrows the scope too much. IMHO the scope should just be model and year of the vehicle - "Chevrolet Bel Air (1953)". This will open up VI comparisons to a larger group of comparative images but I think this is a more appropriate scope and similar to others on this page for automotives. --GRDN711 (talk) 08:25, 24 November 2024 (UTC)

• @GRDN711:  Done Thanks for your advice. It seemed to me that to highlight the vehicle the background had to be blurred in this regard I had actually used a blur tool around the car in post-processing. I downloaded the original version correcting the tilt.
