File:Artas.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with {{subst:OP}} and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

- If you are using pictures for a collage, they either have to be made by you or you must fulfill the licences under which those pictures were released by their authors. If somebody releases a picture under a cc-licence with 'by' then then you have to name him as author of that part of the pic. If somebody releases a picture under cc-licence with 'nd', you are not allowed to change the picture (like putting those disturbing effects over it or making them part of another pic). If somebody releases a picture under cc-licence with 'nc', you are not allowed to use your creation commercially (which means you cannot upload it on Commons). If somebody uses a cc-licence with 'sa', you must share your work under the same licence (in case of cc-by-sa, you must put your work also at least under this licence, cc-zero is not possible). Since 'sa' is quite common addition to cc-licences, it is better to use pictures of only one licence-type for collages as otherwise you are running into troubles of fulfilling the licences of all the parts. Pictures under 'all rights reserved' are forbidden completly. It means that only the author has the rights for anything related to them.
- Example on how to fulfill licence-requests: File:BannerPortalMetal.jpg (cc-by-sa and GFDL are close enough to be used together (except GFDL1.2only)). -- Cecil (talk) 10:14, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
Russian buildings in Santiago
[edit]Hola! I am currently working on an article across multiple projects (including eswiki), and for it I am requiring a couple of photos from Santiago, as per User:Russavia/Required_photos#Chile. Is there any possibility you can help with these photos? Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers, russavia (talk) 14:02, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
