- @Trade{{unblock|reason for the request}}
- Hello! In compliance with the good customs suggested by Wikipedia, I salute you.
- And using the rules and procedures, I request the recovery of the deleted file: Camila-502418258-large.jpg.
- I base my request on the fact that the image file, object of the blockade, complies with the rules that Wikipedia establishes for its use.
- The file in question is a publication registered in Argentina, therefore, protected according to the current legal system: The image corresponds to the official cover of the film "camila", published in Argentina on May 17, 1984 and therefore is protected by the scope of LAW 11,723 - LEGAL REGIME OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY art. 34 and I quote: For photographic works, the duration of the property right is TWENTY (20) years from the date of the first publication.
- In accordance with this, I request that the file be restored and its use allowed, as it is in accordance with the law. Oscar Antonio (talk) 02:42, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
These arts originate from the United States, there is no way to be free in the Argentine publication. Hyju (talk) 09:36, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- for its publication he graduated and was based on the Argentine edition of comics of the time that was, in those days, developed by the current Editorial Panini. Regardless of the fact that it is a character originally from the USA, the inking, the colors and the image itself, were made in this country, registered and made the legal deposit.

- Buenos dias.
- saludos Oscar Antonio (talk) 16:29, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
Cualquier consulta, a disposición. Saludos, Fma12 (talk) 20:12, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

- @ThooompsonHello. good morning. The file has been uploaded according to the rules. It has the corresponding tag "
This image is in the public domain because the copyright of this photograph, registered in Argentina, has expired. (Both at least 25 years have passed after the photograph was created, and it was first published at least 20 years ago, Law 11.723, Article 34 as amended, and Berne Convention Article 7 (4)).
Use this template exclusively for photos and NOT for drawings or other pieces of art. Warning: date and source of any publication prior to 20 year old must be indicated so anyone can check it, and clear evidence that the image was taken more than 25 years ago must be given.
|
" because the image is a photographic work registered and published in Argentina, according to the terms of Argentine law 11723 article 31, and 37 and its modifications and article 4 paragraph 7 of the Berne Convention. The same applies to all publications made on Argentine soil. If there is a different interpretation, I will be happy to read which part of the law is being contravened. Oscar Antonio (talk) 12:14, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- Greetings, @Oscar Antonio. These album covers were first copyrighted in another country, for example this one (Decídete) was first copyrighted in Mexico, it falls under Mexican copyright laws rather than Argentina's, even if it is public domain in Argentina. Yes, it might be different if you used the Argentina cover, but you're uploading the original covers under the guise that they're public domain in Argentina, which they aren't, and neither Decídete nor Happy Nation have a special Argentina cover edition. Furthermore, the images (not the covers) are derivative works of other images; they are not AI generated, but rather enhanced versions of copyrighted works.
- Everything I mentioned was already mentioned to you in Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Oscar Antonio. nicolas talkpage 19:01, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
