Hi, would you please take a look at Gryffindor (de-adminship). It may concern one or more of your "problems" CU --Herrick (talk) 17:52, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Kanji/Hànzì file names

I've just read your answer at Commons talk:Language policy and thank you for taking the time to reply. However whatever peace of mind that I was able to derive from this discussion has all but evaporated. I was feeling guilty about providing rename targets for Kanji/Hànzì file names and the advise of a native ja speaker and admin who was actively seeking out and renaming such files seemed the perfect person to ask for advise. User:LERK's reply seemed so reasonable and logical and helped lessen my feeling of guilt. Now I find there is another school of thought on the matter. So what would your advice be if I find a file with Kanji/Hànzì file names in Category:Media renaming requests needing target? My own original conclusion was to leave it as long as the title was accurate, and add an English description in the information box if it needed it, I take it this is what you would consider the better course of action.KTo288 (talk) 06:04, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Precisely. --O (висчвын) 23:57, 09 December 2008 (GMT)
Now I wish it was you I had first come to for advise, there's nothing I can do for the files I renamed but thanks I know what to do now.KTo288 (talk) 06:02, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Thank you!

Hello, O. Thank you for supporting me in the request for adminship. Although it hasn't done successfully, I proud that twenty-nine trusted contributors -including you- voted for me. Thank you again for your trust.--OsamaK 14:14, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
