Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

W.K.St.V Unitas Cheruskia zu Gießen

Der W.K.St.V. UNITAS Cheruskia zu Gießen ist ein wissenschaftlicher, katholischer, nichtfarbentragender, nichtschlagender Studentenverein und Mitglied des ältesten katholischen Studentenverbandes, des Unitas-Verbandes (UV).

Geschichte

Der wissenschaftliche katholische Studentenverein Unitas Cheruskia zu Gießen, gegründet 1919, ist seinem Selbstverständnis entsprechend nicht schlagend und nicht farbentragend. Zur Zeit seiner Gründung führte er, anderes als heute die Farben: Weiß, Blau und Gold welche sich auch heute noch in ihrem Wappen wiederfinden. Am 29. Mai 1999 wurde er erstmals zum Vorort des Unitas-Verbandes gewählt. 2018 richtete sie, die 141. Generalversammlung des Unitas Verbandes, in Badhomburg aus.

Prinzipien und Wahlspruch

Der Wissenschaftliche Katholische Studentenverein Unitas Cheruskia zu Gießen, fühlt sich den drei Prinzipien des Unitas Verbandes verpflichtet:

Virtus einer christlichen Lebensführung, sozialem Engagement, Toleranz, Humanität und Zivilcourage;

Scientia einem zielbewussten Studium mit fächerübergreifenden Diskussionen zur Förderung des Urteilsvermögens;

Amicitia einem freundschaftlichen Miteinander in allen Lebenssituationen.

Wahlspruch

Der Wahlspruch des W.K.St.V Unitas Cheruskia zu Gießen lautet:
