Peat cut paths

[edit]

I think these need a mention. They are created paths through bad areas of peat & are perfectly walkable. Certainly there are both Black Lane (North) & Black Lane (South). I think there are 6 others - will research --Herby talk thyme 07:13, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, sounds sensible to me. The one I'm unsure about is where to put the tramways - if they belong here or on an "industrial" page.--Nilfanion (talk) 09:12, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Personally "industrial" and as with ancient trackways I have the Hemery books. Cheers --Herby talk thyme 13:23, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that's the way I'm leaning too. One issue that's starting to crop up now we are getting more in is the same shots are necessary on multiple lists: the Two Moors Way is along an old tramway near Ivybridge, Shaugh Bridge is where the Plym leaves the national park etc etc. When that occurs, lets just list the same image in all appropriate spots. Incidentally could you add grid refs for the peat cuts?--Nilfanion (talk) 21:15, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
