However!

[edit]

While the page as it currently stands is ok as a format it fails to deal with the North xx river & the South xx river (Dart being obvious but there are quite a few others. Equally it does not deal with

  • River xx
    • Tributary 1
    • Tributary 2

etc

Think I'll create a straight list for now maybe. --Herby talk thyme 16:59, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking the same thing, here a straight list is probably preferable. The main reason I used a table on the tors is there is useful data to sort (the height and prominence), if someone wants to view a list in a different manner. Here, there is a single logical hierarchy. Furthermore each river should have multiple images, but its not totally clear what they should be.--Nilfanion (talk) 17:39, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just added a bunch and reshuffled, with a more logical structure than alphabetic - which bounces around a bit. Rules are:

  1. Starts clockwise from the Dart.
  2. Tributaries that join main river lower down get listed first - in case of two rivers merging eg the E and W Dart, follow basic CW rule again.

I'm not sure where to draw the line between interesting and 'boring' streams though...--Nilfanion (talk) 00:21, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
