Hi, do you have the wikitravel.png in a higher resolution, so it looks good on print?? I would like to use it for promotion... Many Thanxs!!
Hi. Do you have an Commons:Image copyright tags for Image:Slaget på reden.jpg? -- Chris 73 09:39, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks -- Chris 73 09:50, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Hi Cris - I hope it is OK now - this is my first opload in Wikimedia Commons, so it's a kind of test, so you are welcome to correct me - Nico-dk 09:52, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Category:Danske slotte og herregårde → Category:Danish castles and estates (kategorier på engelsk)

- OK - and thanks for the correction ;-) vh. Nico-dk 12:20, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
This image, Image:721px-Kurdish lands 92 cropped.jpg, lacks any license in en: (en:Image:Kurdish lands 92 cropped.jpg) but despite this you license it under GFDL when you uploaded it to Commons. May I ask your source for this? Thuresson 03:49, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Hello
- Maybe the right licence will be PD. The english wiki says : Map of Kurdistan courtesy of The General Libraries, The University of Texas at Austin , and they seemed to have it from CIA-Factbook, which is PD. (?) Nico-dk 21:05, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I definitely think this is a CIA map, compare this map with Image:Golan 92.jpg. I can't find it in the CIA factbook though ([1]). Thuresson 21:17, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- ??? What are you talking about ?? Nico-dk 18:39, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- This file (now deleted) was uploaded by you with 800px, that's the wrong size and as a follow the wrong name. Beside you gave no sources so it was a copyvio too. --Saperaud 19:46, 10 December 2005 (UTC)--Saperaud 19:44, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- I am sorry if i have made any damage. Are the image now on Commons, or on german wiki only? - I can't find it here. -- Nico-dk 13:50, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Image Tagging Image:Henry IV of france by pourbous younger.jpg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Henry IV of france by pourbous younger.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. - According to en:wikipedia the image is made by en:Frans Pourbus the younger (1569 - 1622) who was a Flemish painter - so i think {{pd-old}} i OK (?) -- Nico 08:40, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Stege mollerporten,.pg
[edit]Hi. I have been working on the english wikipedia article on Mon, which insoporates information on Stege....and I discovered you have uploaded a picture of the mill gate. Now, I don't know any Danish, so I can't read the danish wiki articles to see if they contain anything useful, and I cant read the explanation information about the image, what it is exactly. perhaps you could add a translation of its Danish description, or might be interested in looking at the english wiki articles yourself? Underkategorier til Category:Diocese of Århus
[edit]Hej Nico. --Brams 17:34, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Keep up the good work. Valentinian (talk) 19:24, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Tak for hjælpen. Valentinian (talk) 01:19, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Image deletion warning | Image:B-noergaard-vejle.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |
