vitrail de la cathédrale de TOURNAI

[edit]

Miniwark 20:19, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this image which you uploaded, based on Image:177px-CodeOfHammurabi.jpg, has to be deleted because its license (PD-Art) can not apply to 3D pieces of art. This was only realised after the images had been used for sometime (see COM:DEL May 14), so you haven't done anything wrong, I'm just letting you know why your upload is going to disappear. Image deletion warning Image:SavonarolaPlaque.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file.
In all cases, please do not take the deletion request personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

Hello - thank you for the map. It is very difficult to see the difference between "orange" and "red" - the colors blend together and look the same. When the map is small at 250px. -- Stbalbach 11:17, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Photos de Ségolène

[edit]

Hello, you have supported to the promotion of the image Image:Grande Arche de La Défense et fontaine.jpg to the Featured Picture status, and I thank you for that. Currently this image has been proposed to deletion by another user under the pretext that there is no FOP in France.

I believe that the image is not a copyright infringement; the main subject is the water from the fountain, the Grand Arche is unavoidable in the background. In what the lightning of the fountain is concerned, as user Arad mentioned in the original nomination, they are very simple and they do not have a special plan, so they cannot be copyrighted.

If you wish you can express your opinion on this issue on the deletion request page of this image, otherwise the image could disappear soon; the usage check indicates that the image is already used in around 150 pages around internation wikis (usage check), it would be a pity for the community to see a FP image disappear.

Thanks and best regards, --Atoma 17:01, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Map source

[edit]

Hello! The article on the Byzantine navy is currently undergoing the FAC process, and concerns have been brought up by the reviewers on the accuracy of this map, which I have used in the article. If you could provide a source for it, it would be great. Thanks a lot, Constantine 05:41, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I added some information and updated the URLs which were outdated. But honestly, this is obviously a manuscript from Bibliothèque nationale de France (as stated in the category and in the license), and there is no doubt about its source. --NeuCeu (talk) 09:42, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
