Thanks for uploading File:Russian Schoolroom.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Hello Neptune's Trident, the following content you uploaded violates one or more of our policies and therefore has been or will soon be deleted:

File:Russian Schoolroom.jpg

The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files with a realistic educational purpose and that can be used for any purpose, including:
  • use in any work, regardless of content
  • creation of derivative works
  • commercial use
  • free distribution

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.

Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.

Yours sincerely, Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 23:52, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You've been naughty again...

[edit]

You know, I felt a little bad for you when the article about your movie got deleted, but now I see that you've been adding red links for en:Cargo (2018 film) anywhere you can. I might have to ask for my block to be lifted on WP. World's Lamest Critic (talk) 16:55, 18 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Don't worry, odds are the block will never be lifted. Time to get yourself a life and stop Wikistalking me. Adios. Neptune's Trident
  • I looked at the 5 articles where you added redlinks, and, IMO, they were all policy consistent.

A delete closure of an AfD means the community consensus is that the topic does not merit enough coverage for a whole article, or doesn't merit enough coverage for a whole article, yet.

It absolutely does not mean the topic does not merit any coverage. Policy says a topic which had an article deleted at AfD may merit coverage in section(s) of related article.

Your addition of redlinks to Cargo (2018 film) were perfectly acceptable contributions.

Speaking of how WMF projects should be used... do you think when an individual who has been indefinitely blocked at enwiki, then uses Commons to continue the wikistalking they started at enwiki, they then risk an indefinite block here too? Geo Swan (talk) 00:55, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I see you're still polishing en:Michael Gingold's article. Quid pro quo, or do you just appreciate the press coverage of your movie? Very nice of him to include those links to buy your book. World's Lamest Critic (talk) 00:08, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ain't It Cool isn't cool?

[edit]

Hey, why did you remove the Ain't It Cool News review of your movie? Was it the negative comments that people left about the review and the movie? Because that one commenter "D. Bay" really seemed to like it. Well, they only seemed to like it moderately, but they said it a lot. In more than one place. And they are almost exclusively interested in things related to J. C. Macek. How unusual. World's Lamest Critic (talk) 22:10, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's a bit pathetic isn't it?

[edit]

Sockpuppetry? How unsurprising. I'll list the recent ones here for future reference: en:User:ITunesKid, en:User:PumaKid7, and en:User:2000Plus. I hope no one looks too closely at those 5 star Amazon reviews. World's Lamest Critic (talk) 22:40, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
