Hi Natalie-S, please don't overcategorize your beautiful images. See Commons:Categories#Over-categorization. -- Ies (talk) 17:13, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice. Glad you like my pictures. Natalie-S (talk) 17:47, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad you share my interest in succulent plants. That's what called my attention to your pictures. -- Ies (talk) 19:13, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary borders

[edit]

Hi Natalie-S, please do NOT add unnecessary borders to your images. You only force other users to remove them. See Commons:Media for cleanup. Greetings, -- Ies (talk) 14:17, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I do usually remove borders before uploading. This one obviously slipped through the net. Natalie-S (talk) 23:17, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you rename your own uploads, you should use Criterion #1. Read the table on Commons:File renaming page, please ;-)
The proper template is:
{{rename|Kabukicho along Yasukuni Street, Shinjuku, Tokyo, 2011-03-20 (by Peter Stewart).jpg|3|This location is not {{C|Akihabara}}, but {{C|Kabukichō, Tokyo}}. For details, see Note on description.}}
{{rename| ''new name'' | ''the number of the Criterion'' | ''verbal explanation''}}
for example: {{rename|Das westliche Hauptportal der Basilika Vierzehnheiligen.jpg|1|typo}}
Have a nice day :-) Wieralee (talk) 12:42, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Some misidentified flower photos

[edit]

Hi Natalie-S, I just changed the descriptions of the images above and the categorization of the knapweed. The other images were already correctly categorized, but the ID in the description was wrong. Please feel free to ask if you wish more explanation for the identification of these plants. The images should also be renamed, except for the samphire, which is just marsh samphire. Best regards --Robert Flogaus-Faust (talk) 19:04, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rename request done. --Robert Flogaus-Faust (talk) 09:28, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
