Overwriting images with improvements

I appreciate your initiative to make improvements to others' photos, such as File:Paraskevi of Iconium church in Kwiatoń (Квятонь).jpg. However, please take a look at Commons:Overwriting existing files#Respect content creators, which strongly recommends that you do not overwrite other people's files with your own edited version. Instead, it is considered polite to make your request to the uploader/author of the image, who may choose to implement your suggestion (or not). On a more technical note, your version removed the EXIF of the file; in the future, please make sure that you choose an editing software that preserves EXIF metadata. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 06:34, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
