[edit]Hi, thanks for the contact. As you realise, I should have said 8, not 6, as the gallery rows contain 4 images. There is a view that, usually, 2-row galleries are the limit otherwise an article just gets unbalanced. Also there is the potential for less attention to quality of image. I think this matter is recorded somewhere in the guidelines, it's certainly not just my opinion. If you feel you wish to include extra images, the normal approach is to put a reference to Commons, and make an article there of all the relevant images. I agree some galleries are neverless larger, so if you think you are correct to put the image directly in the article gallery, reinstate it and see whether any other watching editor feels like me. The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Motorrad-67. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Motorrad-67~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
