Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Gentilissimo @Monteuranoupdate,

Vedo che anche quest'anno stai concorrendo a Wiki Loves Monuments e (anche se non lo sapessi) all'edizione locale del concorso Wiki Loves Marche. Quindi, prima di ogni cosa: grazie. Volevo solo farti notare che le immagini (indipendentemente dalla loro qualità) con watermarks (scritte sull'immagine) non sono ben viste dalla comunità e non passerebbero nemmeno la prima selezione.

Pertanto, se la tua intenzione è contribuire al progetto e (perché no) vincere il concorso, ti invito a ricaricare le tue immagini (per farlo devi andare in alto a destra su [caricamenti], selezionare una delle tue immagini, quindi cliccare su [Carica una nuova versione di questo file]).

Infine, se pensi di non essere sufficientemente tutelato nel mondo selvaggio del web, ti ricordo che i watermarks possono essere inseriti comunque all'interno del file, non saranno visibili né sul web, né in stampa, ma scaricando il file lo saranno eccome.

Infine, mille auguri per il concorso.

ho visto che hai contribuito a Wiki Loves Monuments. Se ti va, carica qualche foto anche per il concorso locale Wiki Loves Marche (pubblicità progresso).

Tanto per far gola al concorso nazionale, quest'anno abbiamo premi da favola: ti anticipo soltanto che la premiazione avverrà sabato 7 gennaio 2023, alle 17 al Castello di Gradara. Il resto lo lascio alla tua fantasia.

Coraggio, prendi la tua macchina fotografica, il tuo smartphone o quel che vuoi, e carica foto come se non ci fosse un domani!

ricevi questo messaggio perché in passato hai partecipato a Wiki Loves Monuments Italia o Wiki Loves Earth Italia.

Anche quest’anno torna Wiki Loves Monuments: da oggi al 30 settembre puoi partecipare caricando le tue foto per contribuire a illustrare il patrimonio culturale italiano: vai sul sito wikilovesmonuments.it e scopri come fare!

Oltre ai 20.000 monumenti già in concorso, quest’anno si aggiungono più di 60.000 edifici religiosi, tema centrale di quest’edizione. Prendi la tua macchina fotografica, o il tuo smartphone, e individua i monumenti in concorso tramite la nuova web-app – disponibile sia da mobile che desktop – app.wikilovesmonuments.it, da cui potrai anche caricare direttamente i tuoi scatti. Sono ammesse anche foto scattate prima del concorso, purché siano inedite.

A livello nazionale verranno premiate le dieci migliori fotografie: cinque per gli edifici religiosi e cinque per le altre categorie di monumenti; queste immagini parteciperanno anche alla fase internazionale del concorso. Non sono ammesse immagini con watermark o cornici, né fotografie eccessivamente elaborate in postproduzione. Wiki Loves Folklore 2024 has started, Join us!

Hello Monteuranoupdate,

Greetings from the Wiki Loves Folklore International Team! Wiki Loves Folklore is an international photography contest hosted on Wikimedia Commons to document folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world, such as folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, folk activities, folk games, folk cuisine, folk wear, folktales, folk games, folk religion, mythology, and many more.

The campaign invites participants to document photographs, videos, and audios linked to folk culture and fit within the contest's theme. Through this campaign, you may become a part of a community dedicated to preserving our intangible culture, which has been brought and passed down for thousands of years.

How can I Contribute?

The dates for the submission in the photography contest on Wikimedia Commons are from 1 February 2024 through 31 March 2024. Probably you are wondering how you can take part. It’s simple: grab a camera, record an image, video or audio under the folklore theme and start uploading or Click on Upload Now Icon which is available on right side of Wiki Loves Folklore 2024. To learn more about the rules, check out our Project page on Wikimedia Commons.

Here are the exciting prizes which you can win internationally.
