Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). Your recent deletion requests
[edit]Hi Monsterkillu, you've filed a couple of deletion requests, all of images you possibly consider as offending or in your own words as “unnecessary and irrelevent”, “objectionable”, or “totally inappropriate”. However, none of your deletion requests is unlikely to succeed as Wikimedia Commons is not censored and accepts all content which is possibly of educational value, see COM:SCOPE. While we tend to delete amateurish porn shots that are of no value, other images are used for encylopedic reasons. You nominated, for example, File:Nude picnic.jpg even it was in use at the German language Wikipedia article Freikörperkultur (naturism). Such nominations are in no way helpful and should be avoided. Please take a look at our policies and take perhaps COM:NUDE as an entry point. You are free to submit deletion requests if you see a violation of our policies (in particular violations of COM:PEOPLE) but please do not continue to file deletion requests for images you just happen to dislike them.
