Hi Miriam8, OK if I butt in on this discussion? I take it you are Dutch, just as me, but it will probably be easier for others if I go on in English. The problem with pictures you have not made yourself, is that there often is a discrepancy between the licences allowen by the Commons administrators, and the licence given by the people who have the rights to the picture, in these cases, these municipal archives. They have said that non-commercial use is OK. To you and me, that would seem clear enough, but the Commons is more or less in the Anglo-saxon legal world, and they want you to choose one of the licences named on Commons:Copyright tags. I am afraid that it may require somne discussion withbith the archives people and the moderators before you have a complete agreement... Point is: a restriction to non-commercial use is not allowed on the Commons. See also Commons:Licensing. Good luck, and if you think I can help, please drop me a line. The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. Hoge resolutie foto's Beeldbank

Hoi Miriam, Ik zou graag van je willen weten hoe je de foto van Jacob Olie met de afbeelding van het Palijs van volksvlijt in zo een hoge resolutie van de Beeldbank hebt kunnen krijgen. Zelf wil ik er nl ook een paar gebruiken maar het lukt me niet om deze in de hoge resolutie te downlaoden. Kun jij me helpen?
