Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? • COM:EDUSE Must be realistically useful for an educational purposeThe expression "educational" is to be understood according to its broad meaning of "providing knowledge; instructional or informative".
• COM:NOTUSED unused file, no useful info given (no location, no event name)
• COM:SPAM Files that add nothing educationally distinct to the collection of images we already hold covering the same subject, especially if they are of poor or mediocre quality.
• COM:PARTYPICS Private image collections, e.g. private party photos, photos of yourself and your friends, your collection of holiday snaps and so on. There are plenty of other projects on the Internet you can use for such a purpose, such as Flickr. Such private image collections do not become educational even if displayed as a gallery on a user page on Commons or elsewhere.
• COM:PERSONAL Artwork without obvious educational use, including non-educational artwork uploaded to showcase the artist's skills
• COM:SPAM Files apparently created and/or uploaded for the purpose of vandalism or attack. Preexisting designs and symbols that are or have been associated with nationalistic, religious or racist causes are not out of scope solely because they may cause offence. Provided they are legal to host and otherwise fall within Commons scope (e.g. if they could for example be used to illustrate a Wikipedia article on a hate group), they should be kept.
• COM:SPAM COM:SELFIE Advertising or self-promotion.
• Der konträre Standpunkt dazu, nämlich die Aussage „Commons wird nicht zensiert“, kann kein Argument sein, Dateien außerhalb des erlaubten Projektrahmens auf Commons zu behalten, wie weiter oben erklärt. Fotografien von Nacktheit sowie männlichen oder weiblichen Genitalien werden manchmal aus nichtedukativen Motiven hochgeladen; solche Bilder sind nicht von der Notwendigkeit, den Regeln des Projektrahmens zu entsprechen, ausgenommen. Oftmals – aber nicht immer – fügen solche Bilder keinen eigenständigen edukativen Aspekt zu den bereits vorhandenen Bildern hinzu.
