Unapproved bot

I've blocked User:MidleadingBot. You need to get approval at Commons:Bots/Requests before testing/running a bot. You also need to mark the bot on it's userpage as belonging to you, explain its function/s, etc. Daphne Lantier 08:06, 13 May 2017 (UTC)

Batch rename requests

Hi. Regarding those ~100 files to be renamed, in case if these renamings follows a common pattern, it's recommended to ask some bot operator to do such batch rename to not clutter unecessarilly those categories and to put human filemovers at work wasting their time. Perhaps User:Zhuyifei1999 can help performing such a task if global replace is needed, or even me if global replace it's not needed. Do you have a CSV/TSV/excel file with two columns /source titles - target titles/ for the files to rename? --XXN, 14:29, 30 May 2017 (UTC)

How can I massively download all pdf/djvu files from category?

为丛书添加分类

您好，我注意到您最近为文集创建单个图书的分类，这可以帮助用户轻松查找图书，很好。您只添加了已有分类页面的分类。请问为何不能用pagefromfile.py把没有的分类也一起创建了并添加上，仿照现有的此类分类？注意使用原文繁体字就行了，偶尔创建了重复的也没关系。

只需要将字体自动转换为繁体，将所有书名做成列表，替换为格式模板，再用pagefromfile创建就行了，注意不要使用force选项替换已有内容。

另外，建立在为地方志创建时，统一将言字旁的志替换为通用的没有言字旁的志，减少重复创建。谢谢！--維基小霸王 (talk) 15:06, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

文件质量问题

您好，非常感谢您在社区上传的许多古籍文件，我受益良多。

近日发现某些影印文件的颜色明显比其他略淡，如摛藻堂四庫全書薈要.第161冊的墨迹明显淡于其他书籍（如摛藻堂四庫全書薈要.第160冊。此类问题时有出现，如摛藻堂四庫全書薈要.第091冊也存在类似问题。

These user are the same LTA, 110.29 from zhwiki, who did cross-wiki abuse

As title, Category:Sockpuppets of 陳妍安, User talk:朱蓉蒂林眉雀陳珠卿詹金麗鍾美靖, User talk:陳彥霖張慧如, User talk:劉定緯, User talk:江月嬌 and User talk:吳漢文 are WP:110.29, who often uploads pictures named with "法界", "輪迴", "華嚴", "楞嚴", "新台幣" or something about Buddhism. And then he added these pictures into zhwiki articles like 十界. You can compare these usernames with LTA names on zhwiki.

为国图地方志创建分类

您好，辛苦上传了。有空能否将这些书按名称建立分类，如Category:潞城縣志，因为还会不断有不同来源、不同版本的地方志上传。对于分类的命名不知道您怎么看，我看为了一致性，不如建立时忽略年号，且将通用的志和誌统一为志。維基小霸王 (talk) 06:22, 5 June 2022 (UTC)

如果要添加分类的话，还要升级现有生成书籍信息的表格，比较麻烦，还是等以后有空的时候手动或自动分类更快。地方志往往重修多次，因此保留年号是重要的。至于如何使用誌和志，我的看法是和書本封面保持一致，書本封面寫誌就用誌，書本封面寫志就用志。 Midleading (talk) 09:33, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
