Hello
thanks for your uploads
Unfortunetaly, when you uploaded pic in reference, you forgot license and by this way this one runs risk of deletion. Could you tag it with a valid license as your other pics.

Trust
[edit]You have severely violated my belief that you were telling the truth. Clearly some of these images are copyvios as text cannot float in the sky. Please read Commons:Licensing before uploading any more media. Lcarsdata 19:45, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
ELBorgo (sms) 20:54, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
your pics
[edit]Hi
I don't understand your problem. yours photos appears always in good place. I think your problem was rather with Lcarsdata. Oxam Hartog 21:58, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Max -- important information about your pictures. Please see User_talk:Lcarsdata#You.... / Fred Chess 16:24, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
I have responded to you on my talk page. / Fred Chess 22:53, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- Max, are you watching my talk page? Please be aware that I will post all replies for you on my talk page. / Fred Chess 21:58, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Ok, my talk page is getting too filled up, I will reply here.
Ok I have deleted image:Enna43-Settimana_Santa.jpg, but have restored your other images from Enna.
Tip: If you want to see why an image was deleted, use the log: for example like this
But I do want to point out that most of your images aren't really useful because they are in so low quality. For example:
Can't you scan them in?
Also: where are these images from:
- Image:Enna38-Pianta Processione Venerdì Santo.jpg ?
- Image:Enna62-Settimana Santa.jpg, Image:Enna63-settimana Santa.jpg, etc?
Finally, I cannot restore the images from http://ennaturismo.it/ . It is important that images on Commons are available for commercial use , and that anyone can modify the images. The copyright holder must clearly say that he allows such things before I restore the images. If you want further information about how to do that, I'm sure you can get an answer at Commons:Bar italiano.
(Please post your reply here, I will watch your page)

- I know that some images of mine are in low quality, that's because I got them by taking a photo of other photos already printed, that I made myself. But I remember you that the images available about Enna were in a so little number before I uploaded mine, so it's important to have them... moreover, the articles about Enna, its province and its holy week are all featured articles in Italian wikipedia that I wrote myself[1], and without my images I think they couldn't be so..
- However, the trhee images you asked me where they come from, have also be done by me. In depth, the last two aren't so good because I took them when it was a bit foggy.
- About the images I took from www.ennaturismo.it, can you please explain me what I have to do to show I get licence before I uploaded them? I think that the responsibles of the site will not hesitate to send an email to Commons in order to confirm I was totally authorized to uploade those files.
- Finally, I noted that there's a "common delinker" that delete images from the wiki pages when they have been deleted in Commons to, but does an user exist who restores images?
- Good night! --Max 20:09, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- First: no there is not a bot that restores images, it has to be done manually.
- Secondly: About www.ennaturismo.it, if you have an email from them, forward the email to permissions-it@wikimedia.org. Also say that you have uploaded several images from ennaturismo to Commons that were deleted.

Risposta
- Image:Enna5-Teatro Garibaldi.jpg
----ßøuñçêY2K 19:00, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Max: I have restored the images you asked me to restore, one of them had been restored already by someone else. I told you earlier that I had restored all your images from Enna, but I think that I missed restoring those three images. I have been on vacation until now which is why you had to wait for a reply.
- I hope you are now happy with the situation. I first thought you wanted me to restore all your images, but as I said above, I cannot restore the images where there isn't clear written permission. Ok, please let me know if there is other problems. / Fred J 10:22, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Max Canal. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Max Canal~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
