Mercedes-Benz Sprinter City
[edit]Hi Lijn 45, You removed "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter City" here - Was this accidental or were you saying it's not a City model?,
I have no idea what specific make it is other than a 2014 based Sprinter, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 16:25, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm pretty sure that bus has a bodywork by a diffrent manufacturer than Mercedes. As there are quite a few companies out there that build their own bodies for Sprinter buses I didn't knew in which category to put this file. When I took a look at the picture again the bus reminded me of the Tribus Civitas, so it could very well be a Tribus bus. Lijn 45 (talk) 17:06, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, Ah I see, I was going through Category:Mercedes-Benz Sprinter buses which is how I came across the image, I've self reverted.
- MB-one would you agree this isn't a Sprinter City as if it's not that model then the file should be renamed, Many Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 17:34, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- I cannot say with certainty, that it is or isn't a Sprinter City. So, current categorization seems fine to me. --MB-one (talk) 11:47, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
- When I searched the licence plate, Google came up with the type Vehixel S City, so I moved the file to Category:Vehixel buses. Lijn 45 (talk) 13:22, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
- Many thanks MB-one and Lijn 45, Your help is much appreciated :), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 13:46, 19 May 2021 (UTC)

Jonckheere Arrow
[edit]Hi Lijn 45, I hope you're well, I notice you've been adding Jonckheere Arrow to images such as File:Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) Volvo B12B - Flickr - JLaw45.jpg - Could I ask how did you know those images were Arrows ?, The Jonckheere Mistral is an identical vehicle and from what I can tell there's no exterior difference with both these models so I was curious as to how you may know ?, Many thanks, Warm Regards, –Davey2010Talk 19:41, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Davey2010. Thanks for your message. As far as I know there is a way to distinguish both models based on the exterior. The Arrow has V-shaped lines on its front, whilst the Mistral has its front lights grouped in a circular indent. I hope this answers your question. Best regards Lijn 45 (talk) 15:29, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hey Lijn 45, Sadly we have the V-shape on Mistrals too (see this image and File:Woottens W100 TEN.jpg,
- But anyway would it be correct to assume the following;
- This image was the first gen Mistral, this image was the second gen Mistral under VDL and
- This image is an Arrow (unless a Mistral badge is present (such as here))
- Your comment /the above makes more sense as the first and "second" gen Mistrals both follow close front end designs whereas the Arrow is completely different (V-shaped)
- So would you agree with that? If so I'll move all subcat Mistrals over to Arrow, Many thanks for your help, Warm Regards, –Davey2010Talk 16:47, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- I agree, I hadn't realised that the Mistral has two "gens" until now. Lijn 45 (talk) 20:41, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hey Lijn 45, Brilliant thank you very much for your help, I'll get these moved over, Thanks, Take care, Warm Regards, –Davey2010Talk 21:58, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
