Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, Lieutenant Ramathorn!

-- Wikimedia Commons Welcome (talk) 23:55, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for altering your image. I will not change it again. BuickCenturyDriver (talk) 02:25, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
File:PR R1-2.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Revisions

[edit]

Please stop reverting files I have edited without a proper reasoning. The files are accurate. Fry1989 eh? 22:32, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you continue to revert these files without a proper reasoning, I will have no choice but to revert you. Please also reply on your talk page. Fry1989 eh? 22:35, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They are not accurate. I am reverting all of your revisions to the highway signs since you seemed not to notice that the original version uses proper MUTCD colors for printing reproduction. See the specs. [1] The colors are identical to the ones in the MUTCD. --Lieutenant Ramathorn (talk) 22:38, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have used the official MUTCD specs for the design of these signs where available. Some colours are different from the specs, but most of them do follow the MUTCD, those that do not required consideration for real life. Fry1989 eh? 22:39, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The specs for all of the signs in the MUTCD are freely available from DOT. In fact you can actually extract the properly colored images out of the MUTCD, which it appears was the case for the majority of the files that you modified away from MUTCD specs. --Lieutenant Ramathorn (talk) 22:42, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, they ARE freely available, and I have bee uploding and correcting files to meet these specs. If you do not stop reverting I will ask that you be blocked. The yellow that I have used for the warning signs is directly chosen by the MUTCD here where they provide many of the files in Zip. Stop reverting them. Fry1989 eh? 22:55, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The MUTCD does not use black borders on it's signs anymore, you are following OLD versions, the current version does not, nore do any of these signs have an external black border in real life. Fry1989 eh? 22:56, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Stop lying and threatening people. --Lieutenant Ramathorn (talk) 22:57, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not lying, look at the link I have provided it proves I'm telling the truth. Download one of their warning signs. It uses the yellow that I am, and it will not include an external black border. Continued revisions will be considered vandalism and I will ask you be blocked, this is your last warning. Fry1989 eh? 23:03, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Enough threats and lies. The link you provided is not the actual MUTCD. I am using 2009 Edition with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, dated May 2012 as a basis. That is the document that should be used as the guide as i"The PDF version of the 2009 MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, dated May 2012 is the official current edition." If you download a PDF of this document [2] you will see it has the black outlines around the signs. Please do proper research before posting and/or accusing people of things. --Lieutenant Ramathorn (talk) 13:53, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It IS the MUTCD's website and it is the files they have chosen to provide. I have nothing to gain from lying to you, so piss off if you're gonna keep that attitude I'll tell you right now. All I care about is the signs being accurate, and that's what I'm doing. If you edit war on them, I've made it clear what course of action I will be forced to take.
