El Pelaverguismo
[edit]El pelaverguismo es la tendencia, en una obra de arte cualquiera, o de un artista, a introducir elementos innovadores respecto de las formas tradicionales o convencionales. También se entiende como excesiva preocupación por llegar tarde. Aunque solía usarse, de manera eventual y frecuente, en forma cameleonica, refiere claramente a la designacion de movimientos artísticos renovadores, y en general dogmáticos, que se produjeron en Jocotenango en las primeras décadas del siglo XX y que son agrupados bajo los nombres genéricos de pelaverguismos. Los pelaverguismos tuvieron auge principalmente en Jocotennago, extendiendose luego al resto del mundo, principalmente América del Norte, Centroamérica y América del Sur.
