LEKISHA R TURNER

Lekisha R Turner was born on June 05th, 1982 in Los Angeles, California as Lekisha Renay Turner. Mother is Emelinda Jackson formerly Torres. Father is Michael Anthony Turner son of Izear Luster Turner, Jr better known as Ike Turner. She grew up in California until she was eight years old at which time she moved across the country to New York City.
Lekisha’s grandparents on her maternal side are descendants from Puerto Rico. Her grandparents on her paternal side are descendants from Haiti. Lekisha, as well as both of her parents are Americans.
Coming from a hard upbringing Lekisha R Turner has faced many obstacles and challenges. She continues to show her strength and determination regardless of what life throws her way. While going through one of the hardest things in her life instead of letting life knock her down she’s decided to do what she always does and make lemonade even if life gives her lemons. That’s a true skill that I’m extremely blessed and humbled to be able to witness in person.
Lekisha R Turner is the writer and publisher of "What They Forgot To Mention About Breastfeeding & Pumping - A Breastfeeding Journey." She is the mother of Xavier, Laniyah, Le'Yonna, Za'Riyah & Zorion. Lekisha is a Public Speaker, Public Relations Specialist, Lobbyist, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Philosopher, Writer and Publisher, and an Actress. Lekisha graduated from Berkeley College located in New York City. She is affiliated with Alpha Sigma Lambda (Alpha Omega Epsilon), Sigma Beta Delta, Lucrativa Law Corporation & Lekisha R Turner Corporation.
Lekisha’s current mission is to “Ensure our potential Future-Past Generations are afforded the same Equal Opportunities as our past & present generations! She believes that by using our voices we can make a change today that will impact tomorrow. Through public speaking, public relations as well as community & political engagement Lekisha R Turner hopes to ensure a good future for our potential future-past generations; as well as all of those who inhabit this place that we call Earth.
