Hi. I see you uploaded a new version of this picture, at higher resolution. Unless you are the same person as User:Gstaff25, that image isn't yours. Have you got permission from Gstaff25 to upload the higher resolution copy? Where did you get it from? It may be that Gstaff25 only released the scaled-down version under a free licence, and that the high resolution copy is under full copyright. Colin (talk) 12:29, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I thought that the image would be under the same license, no matter the size. I'll see if I can get into contact with User:Gstaff25 to see if he's fine with the higher resolution upload. Kyores (talk) 12:34, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It is quite common for folk to donate low-resolution versions and keep the hi-resolution version chargeable. It would be great if he's happy to donate the larger version, but would have been best if he'd uploaded it. If you get permission, Gstaff25 could make a comment on the image description page to state the new higher resolution version is available on the same terms. If he's not happy, some admin can delete that version (I'm not an admin). Colin (talk) 13:07, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have spoken to him by email, and he has allowed Commons to use the photo. Emails have been forwarded to OTRS. Kyores (talk) 02:33, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's really great to have a high-quality pic and being used for three Wikipedia's so far. Colin (talk) 10:43, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WLM in the UK

[edit]

Thanks for indicating your interest in this. I'd like to get some proper teams in place now, so we can decide who will be doing what, and I wonder if you could go to Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments 2013 in the United Kingdom/People and move your signature to the correct heading? Many thanks, MichaelMaggs (talk) 14:41, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
