Combined arms
Thanks so much for your message. As I said other user I recommend you contacting with User:Sodacan for the British Royals heraldry and other Monarchies. I'm sorry but I'm busy and he has done most British Heraldry elements. Remember single arms are borne as the official emblems and their use should be preffered. Thanks so much and best regards.--Heralder (talk) 22:45, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Heralder. Well, the reason that I submitted those requests on your talk page is pretty obvious. I suppose you are the one who created this coat of arms, so I thought you might be able to do it again and create those alliance coat of arms that I had mentioned before. Regarding Sodacan, I gave him a similar request about 4 years ago and he hasn't done it yet so maybe he's busy as well. Anyway, I'm not going to force anyone to do anything. These requests aren't too high a priority, but they're valid. You can do them whenever you like. Keivan.fTalk 02:44, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

- @Heralder Wow, these are great, and honestly I didn't expect them to be ready by now as you had said you were busy. Anyway, thanks a lot. Do you have any suggestions about where these coat of arms should be placed on Wikipedia? William and Catherine's is added to their wedding article. I think we can do the same thing for Elizabeth II's children, and for those who don't have a wedding article, it can be added to "Marriage" sections. Do you agree? And as a final request, would you also please create the "Conjugal Henry Alice", "Conjugal Anne Mark", "Conjugal Elizabeth Philip", and "Conjugal Margaret Antony" arms? As you have already done it for their siblings and cousins I thought it might be better to have their conjugal arms as well. You can do it later of course. Many thanks. Elizabeth & Philip

Duke & Duchess of Gloucester (1935)
-
Princess Margaret and the Earl of Snowdon (Snowdon's arms granted with title after some months he got married), until 1978
-
Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, until 1992
- In my opinion combined coats should be placed in articles or seccions (long enought) about marriages and it is also convenient placed in Armorials. It is not a good idea showing then in the different languages articles about the coat of arms of the United Kingdom. The origin of the expresion conjugal arms here [1]. For heraldic articles about alliance arms, types or designs I recommend that you use Charles & Diana, the best known, or the version of Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, the second ones and still in use. Thanks, regards --Heralder (talk) 00:35, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Ragheb Alama, Merit Park Hotel & Casino (04).jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). Source of derivative work is not properly indicated: File:Ziynet Sali-Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre 6 (2018) (cropped).tif
This file may be deleted. |
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Ziynet Sali-Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre 6 (2018) (cropped).tif, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you! |

File copyright status
Welcome to Wikimedia Commons. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your recent file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the Village Pump copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 22:27, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
