Byzantine flag

[edit]

Please stop reverting Byzantine imperial flag to an incorrect version. This is vandalism. Thank you. Constantine 15:09, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to ask one question, at the risk of being rude, why is that Byzantine Imperial Flag inaccurate? I have never seen a Byzantine flag like the current "Byzantine Imperial Flag, 14th century.svg". I just want to know why the pre-2020 version is inaccurate. Because the stylized 'B's/'firesteels' occur in later Western European heraldic depictions. Contemporary portolans and examples in stone carvings have actual 'B's, which makes sense since the whole design is meant to be a cross with four letters. I admit I am at fault for not uploading a correct version from the start, but there it goes. Constantine 19:24, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So much about not being rude. Please stop. Constantine 17:12, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
