Re-Upload

[edit]

Hi Kabir! The photos you uploaded on June 16th 2005 still are existing. You need not upload them a second time. I requested speedy deletion for the re-uploads. Cheers --Franz Xaver 23:03, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Just wanted to thank you for this great photo. I really like it. --Avatar 09:32, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Higher resolution

[edit]

Hi Kabir. Did you intend to upload larger versions of Image:Fireworks 5049.jpg, Image:Fireworks 5041.jpg, Image:French Park006.jpg, and Image:PioneerCemet033.jpg (which is almost identical to Image:PioneerCemet032.jpg)? dbenbenn | talk 14:55, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded the higher resolution files and took care of the French Park and Pioneer Cemetery images in a somewhat unorthodox way I but it seems workable to me. Thank you for your assistance with this. :::: Kabir | talk 02:32, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good, thanks!
By the way, I think it would be good to put all the Pioneer Cemetery photos in their own category, say Category:Pioneer Cemetery, Cincinnati. Then you can make that category a subcategory of Category:Cemeteries and Category:Cincinnati, Ohio. dbenbenn | talk 18:43, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hello David. Thanks for the advice. I created the category as you suggested. However, I'm not sure how to create the subcategory, etc. Could you help me out with this? Could you also direct me to a site tutorial that could assist me with learning Wikimedia? Thanks. :::: Kabir | talk 12:57, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and made the category. See [1] for the page code, which puts the category in two other categories. dbenbenn | talk 16:06, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Animal/Plants Categorization

[edit]

Could you please follow usual Commons practice by adding images to categories/pages with Latin scientific names? --EugeneZelenko 01:57, 17 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Eugene: Sorry, I didn't realize that this was the procedure. I will do this in the future as well as correcting the entries I have already submitted. :::: Kabir | talk 10:07, 16 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your suggestion for FPC

[edit]

Hi Kabir, you suggested an image for COM:FPC. But you added the code into the commentary section of the Template:Featured pictures candidates, so it was invisible. You should have added the link {{Featured pictures candidates/Image:Gorilla 002.jpg}} into this template. Then you should have placed your image, nomination and support stuff at this template. I've corrected it for you. Maybe the instructions are not really good, I also had problems nominating my first pic. --SehLax 09:05, 18 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Turtle Images

[edit]

Your images in Category:Tortoise are not of a tortoise at all, they are of a en:box turtle. Cheers. -Dawson 20:46, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know you captured some flying object? It looks cigar or saucer shaped and is located above the middle tree on the left. It is just in front of the lowest cloud.
