Hello,

Your map is nice. I voted "delete" by respect for the author will, but I honestly don't understand why ask this delettion. Your map is a clear good work, but not a 1000 US$ work to keep hide. You can by example see user:Sting and user:Sémhur who both provide nice topographic Maps. You choice. Yug (talk) 17:33, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I just read the Featured picture candidates page : don't mind of this. The FPC pages and votes are "artistic centered", and really harsh with not artistic works (valuable encyclopedic schemes, maps, etc.). You made a good job, really clean, sharp, : Good. All my support ! Yug (talk) 17:59, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also notice that it's your 2 first files, and you aready had a nomination. It's really encouraging. Afterwhat, yes : the (artistic centered) FPC pages and votes are not the place which will enough understand/appreciate encyclopedic works. It's sad, but it's like that : maps and good schemes are in other category which don't currently exist -___- . I heard recently that some people aware of this trouble were planing to setting up a "Valuable images candidates" page or something like that.
So honestly, don't matter of FCP, that's sadly a page mainly made by and for photographers. It will need time to have a page by and for encyclopedic-graphists.
All my best, Yug 06:46, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

your maps - both of them

Hi Justin!

Just wanted to compliment you on your maps. They're terrific. I am a professional cartographer with about 29 years of experience under my belt, and I just wish any of the companies I worked/work for did this sort of product.

Lovely! I hope you do more.
