Thanks for uploading File:Orthodox_church_in_Berat.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Orthodox_church_in_Berat.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 06:02, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Permission statements
[edit]Hi, you write "I have all permission" - the question is: Are you the author? It may be good if you sent us a written permission from your email at http://www.jbrussellimages.com/ to COM:OTRS to validate that you are a professional photographer and indeed want to release your images under a free license so that everyone can use them. --Martin H. (talk) 20:17, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, I'll sent you the licence soon, but I don't have it at this moment at the PC. By the way, I'm the autor of most of them, and other photos are shared with ther photographers. --Justinian (talk) 20:21, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
File:Orthodox_church_in_Durres(2).jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

I admire, the above question was more a joke. You copy images you not created yourself, you upload them with the claim "I have all permission" but you are not able to even provide the correct author information... So in fact you have copied the images from random sources, you have no permission, you dont even care who the author is.
I will delete your uploads with false "own work", "I have all permission", "author=Justinian" claims and give you a LAST chance to work correctly here. Do not copy other peoples work and claim yourself the author, I hope this is clear now. Pay attention to copyright. --Martin H. (talk) 20:21, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Is this a personal attack? --Justinian (talk) 20:23, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- No, it is a conclusion that you have copied images from various sources under false claims of authorship. It is addtional a reminder that Commons is only for free content, means the copyright holder must agree to free reuse by everyone for every purpose including commercial use. It is also warning and a deletion notification.
- And so it continues. Some images have the correct author, this image marked as missing permission. Check your gallery to see them. --Martin H. (talk) 20:56, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- The same applies to your older account. I will have a look too. --Martin H. (talk) 21:12, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing Commons. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add Unblock below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Justinian. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Justinian~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
