Hi Just1pin, I just blocked you for 5 minutes because I got the impression that this account is run by an upload bot. And I think the IP above got it right: you create an odd layout for these pages, which has to be fixed. :-) Greetings from :Bdk: 06:45, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I am not a bot..., i have been sitting here waiting for hours for these uploads!
- This is my first time uploading...so thank you for the tips...I plan on going in and editing each page for correct and specific categories and captions as soon as the upload is complete.
- Patience is a virtue gentlemen. -- Just1pin

Comments
[edit]Hi. Firstly, I really like some of your pictures and I was wondering if you could translate the Arabic in them to make them more accessible to non-Arabic readers. Secondly, I get a feeling that you identify a lot with Palestinians and just want to caution you about POV on this matter... but, at any rate, nice pictures. Grenavitar 03:50, 17 May 2005 (UTC)

Discussion on Commons:Deletion requests on your images
[edit]On the Deletion Request Page there was a discussion going whther or not to delete your images because they are using presumingly POV-names. See: Template:Deletion requests#"Palestine occupationN.jpg" by User:Just1pin
It was decided to keep your images. However, you are asked to reupload your images under more descriptive and NPOV names. When you have done so, please tag the old versions with the template {{Badname}} --ALE! 11:56, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well done on the pix. Some of them are excellent! The names could be a bit more descriptive, though. — Erin (talk) 12:38, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Israel is not "Occupied Palestine"
[edit]Some of your pictures, named "Palestine occupation...", were taken in Tel Aviv, which is generally recognized as part of Israel, and not as part of Palestine. Please upload those pictures with a proper name, like "Israel...", and delete the picture with the wrong name. For example, see Image:Palestine occupation100.jpg of Azrieli Towers in Tel Aviv. Image deletion notification | Image:Palestine occupation43.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

The use of the term "Occupied Palestine" is outrageous and totally unacceptable. This is not the place for political provocation. You can organize demostrations somewhere else. Tel Aviv is an Israeli city. The territory beyond the Green Line is known either as "The West Bank" or "The Palestinian Territories". Kindly accept my fair change of terminology, otherwise I'll have to take harder measures. Drork 02:36, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- Just1pin, I have had to protect your user page due to inappropriate edits. I (or any other admin) will unprotect it at your request. — Erin (talk) (FAQ) 05:46, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- I should clarify that this image has not been nominated due to it's name but due to the fact that it is a photograph of a drawing in a newspaper. As such it is a derivative work for which the copyright is the same as the original image in the newspaper. /Lokal_Profil 10:12, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
