There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Pending permission for image(s)
[edit]Hello. On following images, you have added the {{Otrs pending}} template:
Unfortunately, after conducting a search, I could not locate the ticket containing the permission to use the image. Please respond on my talk page if you have the ticket number, or if you would like to send me the permission. Please note that if you do not respond, the image may be deleted. Thanks! Rjd0060 (talk) 02:49, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- If you could have him send it again, following the instructions and emailing the address listed at Commons:Email templates, that would be great. Thanks. Rjd0060 (talk) 14:36, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- Since we have not received the necessary release, the images will likely be deleted soon. If you end up getting the permission, please let me know and we can get the image restored. Regards, Rjd0060 (talk) 23:23, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry that you are angry. I contacted you two times above and we still have not received the permission so the images have to be deleted. If we receive the persmision, they will be restored, so please don't be upset. We cannot take the chance of hosting copyright violations. I hope that you understand the situation, and feel free to contact me again with further questions. - Rjd0060 (talk) 17:53, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- No, sorry, I really can not have understanding for this. Why do you have to remove the images within a week while the pending situation was already there for months? And again, I did response and explain the situation! But I did not have time last week. I really were about sending an email to the photographer. But I will not do that if I have to tell that his images are removed. I think the changes are really small that you can get more images from this photographer if you do not cancel this unjust action. Josq (talk) 17:58, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- They should have been deleted a long time ago if we did not receive the permission. It was a mistake that they were left for so long. Just note that if you get the permission, the images can be restored. - Rjd0060 (talk) 17:59, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- But why was I informed only a week ago? I really was convinced that the photographer did send the permission, because he told me he did so. I hope that you will be a bit more flexible, because this formalism feels really damaging to me. Josq (talk) 18:03, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- And just to be clear: I only dare to ask (that means, to ask again) for permission if I know the images are still there. Josq (talk) 18:05, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry for the inconvenience that his has all caused. There were some backlogs on OTRS which is why it has taken so long. Please let me know if you forward the permission to us, and I will make sure that the images are restored. - Rjd0060 (talk) 18:07, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

- Well, lets give it a try then... the photographer confirmed to me that he did send the following email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org,
- Hereby I confirm that the following images are taken by me and that I have allowed user:Josq to upload them under a license that is appropiate for the Wikipedia-projects
- http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Castello_Milan.jpg
- http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Bliksem_Tholen.jpg
- Kind regards, I.A. Quist
- Josq (talk) 18:13, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- I have found the ticket! The problem is, we need the uploader to specify a specific license, and I replied asking him to do that 50 days ago, and he has not replied back. If you could ask him to send us the appropriate license specification, that is all we need. For my reference, the ticket number is 2008081310022146. Can you contact him? - Rjd0060 (talk) 18:18, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, on the one hand I'm happy that you at least did the work to find the ticket back, but on the other hand I become more and more embarrassed by the amount of bureaucracy that you demand. You know, uploading an image is already so complicated. The photographer really gived me the permission to do it the way it seemed best to me because I just know a very little bit more about that complicated license stuff.
- You should see things from the other side: you really are privileged that you may use his images. He even formally has confirmed his permission. That means, he confirmed that the license that I used for uploading was OK to him (it should have been public domain). So, why are you still making things so difficult? It's you (I mean, the Wikipedia projects) that can take advantage! Josq (talk) 18:34, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Please read what I've already explained above. The images will not be restored unless the copyright holder tells us which free license he wishes to release the image under. - Rjd0060 (talk) 18:45, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, then that's clear. If you desire to be so "customer friendly" you have to know that such a response disencourages me to do any further efforts. Apparently you're not interested in the images. You (Commons) should fight to overcome all the hurdles related to uploading and copyright, you should not leave that complicated struggle to the photographers and uploaders. Josq (talk) 18:56, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- I suggest you try checking Commons:Email templates & use that mailing template to the owner. --Kanonkas(talk) 18:51, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, your message conflicts with mine. I will look into it. Josq (talk) 18:56, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, that looks very helpfull. I'm wondering why nobody told me about that a week ago. You should put that link prominently on the upload form. Josq (talk) 19:00, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- I did tell you. See this comment which I left on this page 5 days ago. - Rjd0060 (talk) 19:42, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello Josq!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.
To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.
You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.
The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!
Thank you. BotMultichillT (talk) 06:08, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
