Jamón

Hola, espero que no te importe que te escriba en castellano, es como más fluidamente escribo. He creado la categoría 'Jamón' porque, a pesar de que literalmente es ham en inglés, el jamón curado de España es un producto distinto a la simple carne de cerdo 'ham' y con sus particularidades (como por ejemplo diferenciar las variedades de jamón ibérico, de jamón serrano, jamoneras, etc.). Sin esta separación se clasificaba por ejemplo de forma erronea al jamón como producto de cerdos de raza ibérica, a pesar de que el jamón serrano proviene de cerdos de raza blanca. Puedes ver además que en la wikipedia en inglés los artículos relacionados con el jamón son nombrados con ese nombre genuino y no como ham, y un caso similar ocurre con la categoría del Prosciutto (que vendría a ser el equivalente italiano). Hola,vaig eliminar alló de que és la paraula genèrica en espanyol per a ham, per evitar confusions d'hispanoparlants al categoritzar. He intentat explicar una mica el sentit de la categoria, en català, anglès i espanyol, però si alguna cosa et sembla malament corregeix-ho lliurement. Lobo (howl?) 22:13, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

Sé que tenen copyright però precisament per això vaig enviar un correu a la Colla Vella per demanar-lo-hi, cosa que em van autoritzar amb molt de gust. Ara bé, com ho hauria de fer perquè consti que tinc el permís? Pot ser que hi tingui a veure amb OTRS? Categories il·lustracions Llotja

Hola Jordi, m'ha semblat que et dediques força a categoritzar. Et podries mirar les imatges de Category:Contributions from Llotja i fer-hi un repàs per si es pot millorar la categorització pel que fa al contingut, a la tècnica, tipus d'imatge, ... per que es puguin trobar des de diferents vies? Són aportacions fetes des de l'escola d'art Llotja, aquí explica el projecte Commons:Llotja. Estem ampliant el projecte wiki-ArS amb altres escoles. Ja n'hi ha 2 més que hi participaran i altres interessades. A més de tutors wikipedistes ens farà falta suport online per ajudar aquí a Commons i a Viquipèdia. Noms de les esglésies en anglès o en català

Crec que el nom de cadascuna de les esglésies hauria d'anar en català, així ho fan altres wikis. I la millor i més acurada categorització de les esglésies és, de lluny, la francesa (Category:Churches in France). Crec que hauríem de tendir a assemblar-nos-hi, i és en aquesta línia en que he fet els canvis.

Així parlo d'una ENTITAT, una església, haurien de prendre la denominació en català: "Església de Sant Genís dels Agudells" envers de "Church..." (és com si a tu, quan siguessis famós, i et pengessin la foto, llavors et categoritzessin com a "George Ferrer", :)). En canvi quan es tracta d'una PART de l'església, ha d'estar la part en anglès, així, per exemple, "Interior of Església de Sant Genís dels Agudells", també les categories contenidores han d'anar en anglès: "Church interiors in Barcelona", com podríem parlar de "Facade", "Pictures", "Sculptures".

Una altra qüestió, és que crec que s'hauria (i torno als gavatxos) de posar el tipus d'edifici al principi, així es parla d'"Església", "Capella", "Ermita", "Monestir"...

No et sembla bé?. T'hi apuntes al canvi?

Veig que estem d'acord. Però, en el cas francès, fins i tot amb els noms de les catedrals i basíliques, els francesos fan servir la denominació pròpia. Com la famosa Category:Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre; o mira dins de les categories de Category:Cathedrals in France,Category:Basilicas in France.

Church interiors de comarques dins de província

Hola!

Havia estat preparant una resposta al que em vas comentar sobre els museus (ho faré al vespre), però abans volia enllestir tot això de 'Church interiors'.

Ara, i des de la feina, per tant només ho puc mirar a estones, he vist que posaves les comarques dins de la "Church interiors in província...", directament. Jo no pensava fer-ho, ja que per a mi la província és quelcom que ha de desaparèixer (sóc independentista..., no per res).

Si el que vols és eliminar tots els interiors de les esglésies de dins de província i deixar només les comarques no em sembla malament. Altrament cal posar-les al principi, com be saps, afegint "| " després de la categoria referenciada, cosa que m'he permès de fer-ho amb els enllaços que acabes de posar, però que potser no és el teu ojectiu.

Jo he tret {{ReligBuildSortByMunicipaltyCat}} a tots els encapçalaments de província (que ara sols resta en les comarques), en quan a la Cerdanya, la penjaria de les dos províncies i o m'hi escarrassaria més.

Categories potser innecessàries

Hola, Jordi, de nou. Aquesta categorització ja fa uns cinc mesos que la vaig fer, creu-me que em vaig ben embolicar amb això dels museus, però abans de fer-ho la situació era força caòtica!!. Així vaig crear i ordenar: Category:Museums in Catalonia by comarca and name, Category:Museums in Catalonia by comarca and city, Category:Museums in Catalonia by comarca i Category:Museums in Catalonia by city.

No veig que sigui tan de problema que totes les categories tinguin el "by city" i el "by name". Només tens un mínim retard en la navegació per trobar un museu si ho fas des d'una o l'altre.

Dit això, crec que no és gaire "estètic", i per això tens raó:

Potser seria millor bolcar tot el contingut de Category:Museums in XXX by city o de Category:Museums in XXX by name en Category:Museums in XXX (on XXX és Solsonès o qualsevol altra comarca), ara ja està fet.

Caldria, doncs decidir quin tipus d'ordenació caldria que aparegués a Category:Museums in XXX, la del nom o la de la ciutat. Suposo que la de la ciutat (així està ordenat en el cas de les esglésies). Llavors bolcar-ho tot a la categoria mare i eliminar les categories Category:Museums in XXX by city. Caldria eliminar TOTES les categories Category:Museums in XXX by city i no només les d'1 element, per tal de donar homogeneïtat al conjunt.

Jo de moment no m'hi posaré, tu mateix.

Church interiors

Bé sembla que ja hem acabat aquesta feina. He fet alguna reordenació més relativa a claustres (cloister). He fet servir els {{category redirect|}} per no crear problemes.

Hi ha una frase que no et vaig acabar d'entendre: "Church interiors in Igualada" està dintre de "Church interiors in Anoia", la qual ja està dintre de "Church interiors in the province of Barcelona" . Per tant, seria redundant afegir "Church interiors in the province of Barcelona" com estas fent."

Si deixo de banda el meu posicionament polític de no promocionar les províncies. No entenc perquè parles de redundant. Que es pugui arribar a un "Interior -concret-" per diversos camins (via província - via comarca) no em sembla gens malament.

Hola Jordiferrer, creo que has tenido un pequeño despiste. El Navás de la etiqueta no es la localidad de procedencia del ejemplar, sino el autor de la especie: Longinos Navás, que la describió en 1922 según los ejemplares que recolectó en el yacimiento de Libros (también lo pone en la etiqueta), provincia de Teruel. Categoria duplicada

Veig que s'ha creat Category:L'Empordà, Oda nova a Barcelona quan ja existia Category:A Joan Maragall (Jardinets de Gràcia). Alguna idea sobre quin és millor dels dos? Aviso també al Mafoso. --V.Riullop (talk) 15:44, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Perdoneu que m'hi fiqui. No ho tinc gaire clar, però de monuments "A Joan Maragall" n'hi ha quatre a Barcelona, pel cap baix, i alguns surten amb aquest nom al catàleg. En aquest cas un altre nom pot ser més orientatiu.--Pere prlpz (talk) 16:20, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
He creat l'Empordà, Oda nova a Barcelona (sense haver vist l'anterior...) segons els que s'indica a ca:Llista de l'art públic de Gràcia ... pel moment he incorporat la info i categories de la primera (A Joan Maragall (Jardinets de Gràcia)) a aquesta nova ... --Mafoso (talk) 16:32, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Precisament com que "A Joan Maragall" era ambigu, vaig afegir Jardinets de Gràcia per desambiguar-ho. Si l'obra oficialment s'anomena "L'Empordà, Oda nova a Barcelona" no em sembla malament usar aquest nom, però te l'inconvenient que llavors al nom no apareix ni l'homenatjat (Maragall) ni la ubicació (Jardinets de Gràcia). --Jordiferrer (talk) 18:06, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Amb els criteris que segueixo jo li hauria posat "L'Empordà (Ernest Maragall)" o "L'Empordà (Jardinets de Gràcia)", descartant el subtítol i donant preferència a l'autor més que l'homenatjat, o la localització com alternativa. De totes formes, tots són vàlids. Si no hi ha preferències clares, millor deixem la categoria original movent la nova, sense perjudici que es pugui tornar a reanomenar. Ho trasllado a Category talk:L'Empordà, Oda nova a Barcelona per continuar allà si fa falta i per tenir una referència de la sol·licitud. --V.Riullop (talk) 11:03, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
