Hello. You recently added 49 PNG images to Category:Featured pictures on Wikimedia Commons - vector. As far as I know, PNG images can not be considered vector; they are raster or bitmap. 4nn1l2 (talk) 16:46, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

@4nn1l2: Thanks for telling me. I'm uploading results from SVG-Test-suites for phab:T40010, see User:JoKalliauer/SVG_test_suites for example: resvg SVG test suite.

When I started I first created the pages manually (without file) and then uploaded the file manually. However pattypan, does not allow uploading a file to an existing page, even if no file is existing, see https://github.com/yarl/pattypan/issues/124 , so I'm now doing it the opposite way around, I first upload them with pattypan, and then I edit them manually. So the uploads were not post-processed, when you saw them, I was working on User:JoKalliauer/SVG_test_suites/resvg_Issues_details, related to those files. Since rendered SVGs should imho not only change the categories (e.g. "SVG Map"), also remove templates as e.g. the quality-image-templates, so automatic processing is imho hardly possible. So I do it immediately afterwards.

Now everything should be fixed: Special:Contributions/JoKalliauer2.

Is it a ok, if categories are temporary, for the time I'm currently working on it, are wrong?

PS: To answer your question: Those 49 PNGs you mentioned are rendered images of feature SVGs, but never voted as featured in the rendered version, so if they are featured, then the vote is related to vector-criteria, so I personally have a bigger issue to call them featured.

@4nn1l2: Sorry for me being a bit harsh.

Your work checking is very valuable! Sometimes it happens that I oversee something to edit, so don't hesitate to ask, if you notice some error. (And sometimes it is easier to change something before 1000 of further files get uploaded.)

PS: I don't mind where you post. Here I might oversee a post for a long time, since I erratically log in to JoKalliauer2, so on this page you might should ping my main account.
