@Jmurphy042000 Why did you add "Deutschland über alles" to your user talk page in one of your first edits? Toadspike (talk) 10:43, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The use of phrases like "Deutschland Uber allies", which you used in an edit, could be offensive to some people so please refrain from using it without appropriate context--Bedivere (talk) 13:05, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I do not remember posting this in anyway. However, how is this offensive? It means Germany over everything. That can be defined as being patriotic to one's country, could it not? Just because people relate Germans and Germany to nazis doesn't make it offensive. That is actually discrimination on my part due to me being German and being patriotic. My family was murdered by nazis fir being Jewish and ib the resistance. I have pictures and documents as proof. So I take it extremely offensive to insinuate I'm being offensive. Furthermore the pledge of allegiance daily. It's the equivalent to saying America is #1 or godless America or god save the queen. Is that now inherently offensive due to religious aspects? Any phrase can be taken as offensiv, and people in today's society will use it for their own beliefs and purposes. Why is ones better than the others? I suppose I can no longer express my profound love of my heritage and my country due to the past and others assuming that makes me a nazi for feeling that way. It's ashamed that I can't be german in 2024 due to the atrocities others committed in the past that in no way has anything to do with me. Feel free to remove the comment, I have no idea how to. I'm not sure how I even did that to begin with. However, please don't ever insinuate that I'm being offensive for something that was posted almost 7 years ago now. I'm not maga, I'm not Republican, I'm not a white supremacist, I'm not racist, I'm not anything you and the compliantant implied. Jmurphy042000 (talk) 12:03, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
