The guy was explicitly lying, first saying that he has taken the picture himself and then retracting it and pretending he does not know. I would still not onject to unblock (until the first problem, after which he would have to be reblocked forever), but I am not going to do it myself.--Ymblanter (talk) 08:37, 16 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose any unblock; because there was not a single one constructive edit by this user on Commons all the time (even the one remaining upload originally had been tagged with a bad license template, which was fixed by me then); because the user seems to be overchallenged with basic wiki rules such as Neutral point of view; because he is banned on several projects, presumably for good reasons. It has nothing to do with punishment, it is just to prevent further disruption and damage for Commons. --A.Savin 08:55, 16 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
