Thanks for uploading File:Logo ufficiale Regione Emilia-Romagna.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

@Magog the Ogre: Thank you for the verification. I've been asked by the owner of the official logo to upload, and link to their page. The logo has been approved by a regional law, and is copyright. As written on that page, can be used after a written consent by the owner, on the copyright page you can read:

On that same copyright page, can be found a manual, where at page 135, is published another regional law (dgr 352 20th march 2006) that explains how to use the logo

I can ask to create a copyright page you can accept, but the information on the link I posted is complete and the logo is the only one that can be used for Regione Emilia-Romagna, seen there is a law regardign it. --Jdeyla (talk) 11:41, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Great! The best course of action is to follow the process here: Commons:Modello richiesta di permesso. It's an extra step, but this is how we prefer to validate copyright, since informal requests aren't very good on legal matters. Thanks for your patience. @Magog the Ogre: For me no problem to ask the owner the permission, seen I'm doing this just because the owner asked me to do so, but I'm afraid in that licence there is a phrase that violates the regional law: "acknowledge that by doing so I grant anyone the right to use the work, even in a commercial product or otherwise, and to modify it according to their needs, provided that they abide by the terms of the license and any other applicable laws." Ecaus the use of the logo, can be done after asking the written permission. If thy ask me to change something in that tamplate, can I do so?
