Hello Jastrow. Could you check this image? There is something wrong → Musée du Louvre, Atlas database: entry 6849--naamar (m) 13:33, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi. There does seem to be a mistake. I'll be going to the Louvre this week or the week after, so I'll try and check it. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 16:35, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Fort de Giromagny, ma remarque

Bonjour Jastrow.
--Jebulon (talk) 21:11, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

Picture Request - Investiture of Zimrilim

Greetings Marie. First of all, thank you for the quality photos of Ancient Near Eastern artefacts that you've been uploading to Commons, absolutely brilliant. I'd like to request a photo, if it's not too much trouble, when you find yourself at the Louvre. The en:Investiture of Zimrilim article is badly in need of a quality picture that captures the whole mural. There are quite a few photos on common but none of them actually shows the whole fresco (which is important to see the strict symmetry, and I'm a little surprised by the blue hue (which might just be the lighting) as compared to the photos on the Louvre website. Thank you in advance! Best, Zozo2kx (talk) 09:29, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Many thanks Marie! I appreciate it. Perhaps, if at all possible and you happen to have the time while there, you can also take a photo of the Stele of Baal of Ugarit (I'm planning to write about it this weekend). Again, thanks in advance. Zozo2kx (talk) 19:31, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Thanks Marie, no worries, I'll use that photo for now. Terribly sorry for any inconvenience; but I think I've been a bit spoiled by the excellent photos you uploaded of Ebih-Il which I'm writing about now. Merci beaucoup. :) Zozo2kx (talk) 04:13, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
Greetings Marie. I'm thinking of nominating your photo of Ebih-Il as a featured picture on enWiki, any thoughts? I have absolutely no experience in that whatsoever, so if you don't think it's a worthwhile idea do let me know (it should be on the main page as a lead hook for DYK anyway, but I think the photo, and the statue, should be highlighted further). On a related note, I'm using the photo on a large poster (A1) and I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind uploading a higher resolution one (if you still have the original?). One last thing; the DYK for the Investiture of Zimrilim is on hold in the hope that you may be able to provide a better quality photo to go with it. Many thanks again.
Many thanks Marie; will be looking forward to using your new photos. Best. Yazan (talk) 07:46, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
This (the Urkish Lion, ANE-Room C) is also an article I'm working on at the moment, and it seems there are no photos of it commons at all. Would it be possible to get a few photos of the copper statue/tablet on your next trip to the louvre (I understand that it may be difficult considering they might be displayed behind glass). Thanks ever so much. Yazan (talk) 17:06, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
