Couple of questions...

Hi, first of all, please put your images in categories or on gallery pages. Otherwise no one else will be able to find them!

Secondly, about these images:

• Image:Göltzschtal entwurf knast.jpg
• Image:GoeltzschtalEntwurfRoehre.jpg

in what sense did you "make" them? Did you paint them, or just take a photo of them/scan them? If it's the latter, you can't claim any copyright and we have to find out the copyright status of the original. artwork. Thanks, pfctdayelise (translate?) 08:49, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

-regarding categories: I will add this information as soon as I am familier with Your ideas about categories, I dont want them to place in the wrong place.

-regarding images of concepts for an bridge in Germany: I took a photograph of the two images. I don not own the pictures, they are on display in a public museum in Germany. Both pictures were drawn 1845 and part of an official proposal to build the bridge. The reason was an official "Call for papers" in the way of an nationwide idea contests. Please, see the article in the German branch of the Wikipedia for more information about the construction and the story behind [1] (Sorry no English translation available yet). Three reasons convinced me to act legal in taking and publishing the photographs: (1) displayed in a public museum, (2) part of an official proposal (so made with the intention to publish them) (3) more then 160 years old. --Inschanör 16:24, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

For the categories, just a location category would be a good start. I think most of the German location categories are of the form (Place, Germany). You can explore Category:Germany to find the right one.

For the artwork,taking an image of a 2D artwork does not transfer any copyright to you. It all remains with the original author. The way the pages are written at the moment it sounds like to drew the pictures. If you just copy what you wrote here onto the image pages, then it will be fine. Your account will be renamed

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Inschanör. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Inschanör~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
