Error

[edit]

Hi, where can I report errors? This was an error - there are numerous trees with the name of "Friedenslinde" (peace linden) in Germany, it's just that this image happens to be named "Friedenslinde.jpg", still it depicts a particular one and not the other particular one you assigned. Thanks for your consideration. Best regards --dealerofsalvation 19:22, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • If it is accidentally happened, it will be automatically deleted. Otherwise, you remove the claim recently made by any author. It may be a process of upgrading your image with a rank or so. If it made you hurt by any means, I hereby express my feelings of sorrows. Relax . You did everything right. Carry on. Concentrate on other activities. Best regards.

Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

By ignorance, I had uploaded the image of the maps, keeping in mind that this was not a violation of Wikimedia policy. Hereafter, after receiving your message, I stop posting such maps. Thank you.--Helppublic (talk) 16:30, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid it cannot have been ignorance. Prominent on Google Earth pages is Google's copyright. You must respect copyrights Timtrent (talk) 17:04, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • By uploading images here you immediately lose control of them. It is kind of you to grant this consent, but the images belong to all from the moment you finalise the upload, so, your kindness apart, it is not required. Please read Commons:copyrights, something I believe you will find valuable. There is a finite risk of uploads being blocked if the law of copyright is not applied correctly. Please do not get yourself blocked. Timtrent (talk) 17:27, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
