You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

About categories

Dear Gricle, I see you are rather new on Commons. Welcome and I am glad you care about categories. But I see some changes that in my opinion are not correct:

• Dikes are not buildings, but structures/part of infrastructure.
• Dikes are not considerd to be part of the geography of an area.

Tips:

• Look at the parent category/categories to know what is correct.
• More about categories: Commons:Categories.
• If you read Dutch: Handboek Wikimedia Commons/Categorieën.

Dear Gricle, I see you still are struggling with adding categories, please pay attention to over-categorization, see Commons:Categories#Over-categorization. For instance Category:Parks in Spijkenisse: you added Category:Parks in Nissewaard (that is a good one) but forgot to remove Category:Parks in South Holland, which is now redundant, because Category:Parks in Nissewaard is already a grandchild. --JopkeB (talk) 14:36, 23 February 2023 (UTC)

Parks in Spijkenisse was added to Parks in South Holland because Spijkenisse isn't a municipality anymore and thus cannot be found in Parks in South Holland by municipality. Gricle (talk) 14:43, 23 February 2023 (UTC)

But yes, it was and is in Parks in South Holland, in its subcategory Category:Parks in South Holland by municipality and then Category:Parks in Nissewaard, so as a grandchild. You should not only look at the direct subcategories, but also in those subcategories (and beyond), otherwise main categories will get overcrowded, please read Commons:Categories#Over-categorization.
